How tall is she? I'd end up with a cramp in my neck from looking up at him all the time.

There are some pictures in which, when Margarita is smiling, she looks quite pretty. But when she's not, she looks like a big sourpuss. (Sort of like Claire of Belgium who tends to look stern when she is not smiling.)

But there is just something slimy about Edwin. Maybe I'm looking at these pictures with jaded eyes from the stories I've read about him and the various interviews he and Margarita have given, but there is something distinctly untrustworthy about him.

Not that Margarita shouldn't be held responsible for some of the things that have transpired with the scandal, but Margarita comes off more as a lost little girl who is getting back at her parents and family and also someone who is madly in love with Edwin and would do anything, no matter what the cost and no matter whom she hurts, for him.

Alexandria, he certainly looks very shifty to me!

This thread has been cleaned up, but in the process a lot of posts had to be removed because of broken links. I hope we can re-post to this thread of pictures of Princess Irene's daughter.

Where is Margarita living now that she is divorced or getting divorced from Edwin? They were living in France while they were married right?

Phoei, sometimes you have to delve deep, real deep, into threads to finally find what you thought you saw once, many moons ago,but here she is,dear HRH Princess Margarita de Bourbon Parma,Countess of Colorno.

She was living in France at the time yes,but with the divorce being a fact she announced today she and Tjalling are to marry in may with a baby on the way due for august. The wedding will be low key,a civil ceremony only.

This thread has been renamed and is now called 'Princess Margarita and Tjalling ten Cate, News and Events'.

The former News and Events thread of Princess Margarita included her ex-husband Edwin de Roy van Zuydewijn. The threads can be seen here:

Margarita & Edwin, Part 1

Margarita & Edwin, Part 2

Comments about the engagement of Princess Margarita and Tjalling ten Cate can be posted here.

I was wondering, when will the couple get married again? And when is Margarita due? On the Benelux Royals MB Joris says it will be a small scale wedding somewhere in the heart of the country (where ever that is).

Has the engagement and the baby news brought a little smile on the face of Queen Beatrix and the Royal Family and the relation between them improved?

According to RTL's Marc van der Linden, the Princess will marry this weekend somewhere in the east of the country.

That's great! It will probably be a private wedding right? Any chance we might get to see at least one picture?

I have no idea actually. The boulevard press know, but I am not sure if they think this falls under the mediacode or not.

I guess it depends on who attends whether or not it falls under the media code. Do you think that WA and M will attend?

Did they attend her last wedding? I would think that Margarita's whole family would attend, wouldn't they? I mean, she is family! I don't know of course if they have an official engagement that day, which would make it logical not to come, but they have attended the weddings of the other cousins of Willem-Alexander, right? So why not this one!
