A longer jacket would have been much more suitable. Emirates are very observant on how western women dress and if asked, very forthcoming on what is respectful of their customs.

There was a tour on a yacht in the Port of Dubai.just as the Royal party was about to leave the yacht it was clear it was low tide,so,so they all got stuck on board for 20 minutes after which HM almost had to climb off the darn thing to get her feet on land again.after she accomplished this manouvre,she gave a yell and raised her arms in victory!...
