It was an important meeting of CEO's of the corporate world from both the UAE as well as The Netherlands.The attendance of HM and TRH underlined the importance HM adds to even better trade relations with the UAE.

Later today the party will fly to Dubai by helecopter and will meet Sheik Mohammed al Maktoum and his Jordan Princess,who is a dear old friend of the Dutch RF.

I thought this picture from yesterday absolutely stunning!

There was a tour on a yacht in the Port of Dubai.just as the Royal party was about to leave the yacht it was clear it was low tide,so,so they all got stuck on board for 20 minutes after which HM almost had to climb off the darn thing to get her feet on land again.after she accomplished this manouvre,she gave a yell and raised her arms in victory!...

HM The Queen received the Order of Al Said

The Prince received the Order of the Wedergeboorte....(..lost in translation there at this early hour..sorry..)

The Princess received the Order of Sultan Qaboos,First Class.
