Zara Philips Among Front Row Celebs in London

London Fashion Week is in full swing, with big names from Zara Phillips to Kate Moss flocking to check out what's hot in UK fashion for spring-summer 2004.

Princess Anne's daughter was spotted chatting on her mobile front and centre at Betty Jackson – not far from comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders – while supermodel Kate was heard to exclaim, "Gorgeous!" as she sipped tea during pal Sadie Frost's FrostFrench show.

"It's our most grown up collection yet," said Sadie backstage at the presenation, which was sponsored by The Tea Council. "We're still somewhere between high street and designer - because we really want people to wear the clothes. It was inspired by strong, sexy women and mythological stories…I love it."

One presentation that had celebrities both on and off the catwalk was the Boyd fashion show. Tamara Beckwith cradled her fuzzy dog as she perused the collection, as Mick Jagger's daughter Elizabeth Jagger worked the runway.

SPECULATION was rife last night that Zara Philips is pregnant.

Princess Anne's daughter had a noticeable ``pot-belly'' in her Jodphurs as she took part in a three day event at Weston Park, Staffordshire.

One onlooker said: ``Zara normally looks in great shape but she was showing off a bit of a pot-belly. I'm notsure if she'd had too much to eat or if she is in the family way but there is more of her than there normally is.'' The Queen's granddaughter was competing in the dressage event at the horse show.

The 22-year-old has had an on-off relationship with jockey Richard Johnson for the past two years.

The Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips stepped out for a charity screening of the horseracing drama Seabiscuit on Monday night, grabbing attention with both her dazzling smile and an even more eye-catching accessory – £250,000-worth of diamonds.

Accompanied by her elder brother Peter and her stepfather, Commodore Tim Laurence, the 22-year-old topped off her black evening gown with the sparkling bauble, which was on loan from jewellers Moussaieff.

And as she made her way up the red carpet, Princess Anne's daughter made it clear that she had no qualms about appearing in public during the media firestorm created by former royal butler Paul Burrell's Princess Diana tell-all book, A Royal Duty. "I'm not bothered," she said. "I'm perfectly happy to be here."

Zara's appearance at the Leicester Square movie premiere was a rare one, but the young royal, a keen equestrian, chose to attend because proceeds went to a cause close to her heart, horseracing charities.

Queen's granddaughter takes secret break in New Zealand


WELLINGTON (AFP) - Zara Phillips, the rebellious granddaughter of Britain's Queen Elizabeth, has enjoyed a week of anonymity in a remote area of New Zealand staying with an old school friend.

Details of 22-year-old Phillips' stay with Dave Murray, 23, emerged Wednesday, two days after she left the country.

The daughter of Princess Anne and ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips spent time in small South Island resort towns and isolated high-country backblocks with Murray, whom she met at Gordonstoun School in Scotland seven years ago.

Murray, a pilot now based in Western Australia, said police helped manage the secretive royal holiday.

The outing that caused the most excitement in Tekapo, Murray's hometown, was a visit to the local pizza bar, Pepe's, where Phillips watched England's narrow victory over Wales in Sunday's Rugby World Cup semi-final.

Pepe's staff said the royal clapped loudly and drank vodka with Red Bull while eating pizza.

Locals described her as "a hard shot", a New Zealand term of endearment for someone who is down-to-earth and friendly.

Murray has stayed at Windsor Castle and Balmoral with Phillips and has dined with the Queen.

I seriously doubt that Zara is that stupid. She has set herself a goal of competing at the Athens Olympics and I can't see that being shelved. Zara is also, for all her rebeliousness, very close to her grandmother so I doubt she would take the risk of this happening.

I love this picture of Zara...it's cute, and it shows she obviously does have a tight relationship with her younger cousin!
