Prince's visit to former piggery

Prince Charles has spent the final day of his annual visit to Wales at a furniture workshop in a converted Victorian piggery in Powys.

But no pictures of any pigs? I would have loved to see him meet some pigs. I have a large soft spot for them. No pigs in the video either.... But it was good to see the locals receiving him so well. They all said very nice things about his interest and enthusiasm about things.

I think the Prince's Accounting for Sustainability scheme for ICAEW is such a great idea. It gives companies incentive to be "greener" by giving the best green policies the competitive edge. He has the advantage too of being able to press heavily for it through all the companies that received aid from the Prince's Trust. I feel very positively about this particular initiative of his.

Prince Charles nets £1 million pay rise

Prince Charles is earning more than £15 million a year after a bumper "pay rise". He has received an increase of more than £1 million in his private income from the Duchy of Cornwall estate

And worth every penny for putting up with certain elements of the media. :ROFLMAO:

And for working and traveling nearly everyday of his life, for hardly having a day just to sit at home and relax! He should start delegating work to his sons, now that's an idea, keep them too busy to get into trouble! :D

Prince Charles sacked by Sainsbury´s
From the article
He and the prince had been forced to truck their vegetables hundreds of miles from their farms to a centralised packhouse in East Anglia before they were sent back to be sold in Sainsbury's stores local to their area.
Mr Holden believes his vegetables were of the highest quality when harvested, but the combined effects of long-distance transport, handling to create large enough batches for the machines that wash and polish the vegetables and further storing after processing to create large enough batches for packing left the vegetables damaged and prone to rot
Supermarkets like their fruit and veg perfectly shaped, something that is difficult with organic produce.
Half the fruit and veg was rejected because it was not the 'right' shape.

Dumfries House saved for the nation

Dumfries House, one of the UK’s most important 18th century classical houses, has been saved for the nation by a group of organizations and individuals brought together by The Prince of Wales. They have agreed to fund the acquisition of the house, its contents and adjoining land for the public benefit.
