I think Charles is aging very well. In fact, when I see these pictures it strikes me that there is a very interesting man there. Like with some actors, I wouldn't mind sitting next to him on a long airplane flight. There's a lot there - you can sense the respect men have for him.

I think the UK is very lucky in how Charles has turned out. It would be nice for the Queen to relinquish more and more to Charles, so that when the days come when she needs to withdraw - as comes to us all - he is solid in the duties. He's going to do well.
I've had the change to see the relevant part of the ceremony on Television
yesterday, Catherine with her princess dress and Charles' excitment have made me grin...;)
You know, I look at those pictures of William and Catherine and I think - its all new and 'young lovey dovey' - but there will come that moment, its so human - you know how it is when you're married for a while - 'honey, I know where to sign, thank you very much, please back off' - just made me laugh. Sorry - pressing ahead too fast. :D

The Prince of Wales visited Llandovery College, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire
today, March 1st, 2011, to officially open a new "confucius classroom". The
Chinese ambassador was also present as the Chinese government supports
the classroom. It's the first in Wales and has been set up to teach Chinese
language and culture to both children and adults in the local community.

A sensible article showing that it isn't necessarily personal links as much as the government using the royal family to promote the links for the good of Britain and British trade and economy. Sure friendships might develop but the reason why the relationships started was the government pushing the British royals to create and maintain links with these people.

Right now on ebay there are 6 of Charles' love letters to Janet Jenkins on sale if anyone has the $60,000 for the opening bid!

I wouldn't even consider it, money or no.

I like the first pic! The POW sure does love a good laugh!

PoW seems to be an extremely happy man. He wasn't always like that.

He does really seem to have a happy smile or a amused chuckle these days. I think he's really happy with who he is and with those around him.
Life is good. :flowers:

I hope his life stays this way.. I am happy for him. :)

Tnks for the pics, Iceflower.
Can anyone read what the PoW wrote in the card?

No it was her hat! It was an older lady , with grayish hair, with that thing on top!
There is a better photo in the gallery of the official British Monarchy website.

I agree with you, Ice! I also thought yesterdays pics 1 and 2 at Dumfries House were wonderful, as well. The Prince looks to be in a very jolly mood...

Well this is a very happy time for PC...

I loved how during the balcony appearance yesterday, PC held little Eliza up, so she could see!
