Vladimir Putin snubs Britain and US over VE Day celebrations | World news | The Guardian

Vladimir Putin has snubbed both the Prince of Wales and the US vice-president, Joe Biden, by refusing to allow them to attend a parade in Red Square marking the 65th anniversary of the end of the second world war, the Guardian has learned.

BBC News - VE Day 65th anniversary: Prince to lead tributes

The Prince of Wales is to lead veterans in a service marking 65 years since the end of World War II in Europe.

The national ceremony at the Cenotaph in London from midday will commemorate VE Day - declared on 8 May 1945.

The Prince of Wales attended a service at Westminster Roman Catholic
Cathedral in memory of all the young victims of gun and knife crime and

Prince Charles reopened Leighton House after its refurbishment
in Kensington, west London May 20, 2010. Leighton House is an
art museum, that's why children of a primary school had an art
class there (see pic 5).

Prince Charles attended several events in Perth, Scotland, today, June 1st.

He visited a farmers market, as president of The Prince's Regeneration
Trust he visited Stanley Mills. Charles attended a reception to celebrate
the 800th Anniversary of Perth, Scone Palace and visited Balhousie Castle
and as president of The Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment, he
attended a seminar at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh. So a really
full programme for just one day

Saucy wench!

I'll bet HRH had a lot to talk to those artists about, he being an accomplished water color painter.
Speaking of which, does HRH give regular showings of his work?

Prince Charles will miss Royal Ascot to recover from chest infection - Telegraph

The Prince of Wales will miss Royal Ascot and a historic ceremony on doctor’s orders next week, in order to recover from an illness.

He is to take three days off next week, cancelling all planned engagements, so he can try to shake off a persistent chest infection.

Oh that's unusual. HRH is very meticulous about how he takes care of himself. I hope he recovers.
