It was the 'Act in her place at high level talks' with 50 world leaders I believe Opal was refering to. Not just visit as her secondary person while QEII conducts meeting with equal Heads of State.
Yes, thanks scooter, that's what I was referring to.

I'll bet HRH had a lot to talk to those artists about, he being an accomplished water color painter.
Speaking of which, does HRH give regular showings of his work?

I wish him getting well soon.... :flowers: And by the way, I am totally touched by his decisions to keeping going his engagements this week.
But it is understandable because both Highgrove Shop, Oxford Islamic Centre, the environment, Royal Cornwall Show, Queen's birthday Pardade...etc are really closest affairs to his heart.

It's a shame that he will miss the event, it is a bold decision for him to not go. Will Camilla be going alone then?

According to the article Camilla will be travelling with Charles to Scotland so she will also be absent from the races and the Garter Ceremony.

Instead of cancelling them, he will take three days off at the start of next week. The Prince will travel to Birkhall, his private home on the Queen's Balmoral Estate in Scotland, with his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Thank you so very much for that clarification-and I hope Prince Charels gets well soon........

Prince Charles has bee in Bath, Somerset today, June 9, to open

Prince Charles met members of 'first responders' (those who were involved in

12 people were shot dead and a further 25 people injured after 52 year old
man Derrick Bird went on a rampage with a shotgun in West Cumbria before
killing himself.
