YOUR DAD IS A HERO

PRINCE Charles greeted the family of a soldier back from six months in Iraq and gave thanks for the army's work.

Charles, Colonel in Chief of the Royal Dragoon Guards, met Trooper Thomas Thackray, 20, wife Rebecca and baby son Taylor in Munster, Germany. Presenting 40 medals, he told the men: "We owe you a huge debt of gratitude."

Local Woman Gets Royal Thank You

Jun 27, 2005 2:33 pm US/Central
STREATOR, Ill.
(AP) Fiona Summers of Streator almost fainted when she received an airmailed letter postmarked Buckingham Palace, with the Red Royal Crest of HRH Queen Elizabeth on the front.

"My hands were trembling with excitement as I managed to restrain myself from ripping it open," Summers said. The former United Kingdom resident carefully opened the envelope with a sharp knife, keeping it intact.

She wanted to make sure she didn't destroy the envelope holding a "thank you" note from the next King of England, Prince Charles, and his new bride, Camilla Parker-Bowles....

The white dress is nice.

I really like the navy coat and white dress from the Battle of Trafalgar event. The collar of the blue coat stands up a little and has a white stripe, framing her face very nicely. Also love the hat. Great outfit.

Who ever her fashion consultant is is doing a fantastic job. Camilla has been looking superb, very appropriate for her age and stature.
