How come no talk about the big change in lifestyle for Camilla? She's now a full time working woman!

Is that Countess Mountbatten in the last picture?

yes , The Prince of Wales kisses the Countess Mountbatten of Burma :)

I must say, I was not happy about the Prince of Wales marrying Camilla, but I would like to say for the record; they look simply wonderful together, and I truly wish them absolute happiness! True love appears to win after all.

Camilla looks AMAZING... Hard to believe it really.

Hard to belive??? You know, I think that Camilla was attacked by the press...They only took awful pictures of her....I think she was perfectly normal before the wedding and everything...she was not beautiful and graceful as Diana...but, she can handle it...

Yes, she might not be as beautiful as Diana, but she gets along with Charles.

Why is it so hard to believe?

Camilla may not always have been nor will she always be a fashion plate, but not everyone wants to be. There is more to life for some people than their physical looks. Even if they are royal.

Also, until earlier this February, Camilla was never an official part of Charles's life or the royal family. Any appearances she made with him were on a personal level. She was never representing the British royal family all the years before when she would accompany Charles. Even though those appearances were very public and noted in the media, Camilla was never representing anyone other than herself. Now she is also representing the royal family and that changes things.

Her priorities were just different, she is healthy but looks like she has never excercised her upper arms in particular for instance in order to keep a bit of muscle tone, she just has played a bit of tennis etc. She might not even have bothered too much with a moisturiser. She is a typical woman of her background.

So you've seen her up close to know that she doesn't moisturize? If you're basing this assumption on pictures, that's hardly fair. Pictures posted here, which come from news agencies predominantly, are purposely grainy. When you pay at Getty Images or Polfoto, then you get the more clearer resolution images.

Were Camilla trying out for the Miss Universe pageant then perhaps her upper arms which are apparently in need of keeping "a bit of muscle tone" might be a valid point of discussion. But even then it would be a weak one. There is more to life for many people than how one's upper arms look.

We are talking about a woman in her mid-fifties. We are not talking about a nubile girl of 19. So Camilla has lived a life instead of staying locked up in her home applying moisturizer and lifting arm weights to keep those apparently jiggly upper arms of her from jiggling any further.

Yes, she didn't try to keep her body in prime shape when she was young, but she seems too laid back to really care.

Well, she seems to have led an outdoors life, with plenty of riding, gardening, and walking the dog. She probably gets as much exercise as most people who go to the gym and do their aerobics. The outdoors life has not been particularly kind to her skin, though, as you might expect for a person with a fair complexion who's spend decades out of doors in all weathers.

I don't know all that much about horse riding, but I should think that keeping a hunter under control during a day of hard riding would give her arms some pretty good exercise.

Her lifestyle suggests that she kept fit by being generally active, not that she spent time trying to sculpt her body by doing carefully prescribed exercises like so many people do nowadays.

On Sunday 8th May:
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will attend a Service to mark the 60th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, Cenotaph, Whitehall, London.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will attend the Annual Parade and Memorial Service of the Combined Cavalry "Old Comrades" Association, Hyde Park, London.

CHARLES AND CAMILLA ENJOY A TASTE OF INDIA IN LONDON:

2 MAY 2005

http://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/2005/05/02/charlescamilla/#enviarIt would appear the Duchess of Cornwall shares her new husband's fascination with exotic cultures, because she was wearing a broad smile throughout her visit to the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute in London.

Camilla seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself when students at the centre, which trains young people in traditional Indian culture, put on a spectacular display of the subcontinent's vibrant music and dance.

The Prince of Wales also revealed that Lord Mountbatten first introduced him to the country that still holds a special place in his heart. "It's been a real joy for us both to visit some of the lessons that have been taking place," he said. "One of the reasons that I have such a love of India and Indian people is through my great uncle Lord Mountbatten. He told me so many stories about India."

Charles was accompanied by his beloved mentor, who was once the British Viceroy of India, the first time he visited many years ago. Lord Mountbatten was also the first president of Bhavan Institute, so it was fitting that his daughters Lady Mountbatten and Lady Pamela Hicks came along to see their cousin open its newly-refurbished theatre.

So, I guess the debate about Charles and Camilla's marriage has now reached another level ... in the absence of any rational argument, just call her "the worst looking", or that "she looks like a man" (as stated in a previous post). Even worse than that, Camilla is not as pretty as women half her age. Shocking!

Time to grow up and move on, I think.

:)
.

Nothing personal ...... just stating the facts. ;)
