Prince William shares hongi greeting as he honours Kiwi Passchendaele soldiers
The Duke of Cambridge has shared a traditional Maori greeting as he met the families of First World War New Zealand servicemen.

Prince William was joining Princess Astrid of Belgium in commemorating the sacrifices of Kiwi soldiers who fought and died at Passchendaele.

The Duke and Princess were greeted by the Maori cultural group of the New Zealand Defence Force, whose spiritual calls and chants rang out across the white headstones, before they were led to their seats on Thursday morning.

CC 17/10 The Duke of Cambridge this morning attended the Dedication of the SAS Ascension Memorial at Hereford Cathedral

Hereford Cathedral Dean, The Very Reverend Michael Tavinor said that the event was arranged in partnership with the cathedral and SAS to celebrate the ‘Ascension’ window which includes 3,000 pieces of European glass in 40 different colours.
Created by the world-renowned sculptor John Main, the base of the stone sculpture includes the famous SAS motto of Who Dares Wins, together with the SAS regimental badge.
Glad to see that the SAS members and their families are being recognized with the window in the Hereford Cathedral.

Congratulations to the recipients of tonight's Pride of Britain awards!

When someone says that William is not good with people, then I'm just laughing.

And there we have it folks. One of the royal family's finest with the Metropolitan Police's finest. Can't get much better than that! :D

Will looks so relaxed and happy at events like this. That's always so nice to see.

He does, doesn't he? With as much as we've seen him out and about and stepping up to his full time royal duties, it seems to suit him and he's found his stride. Its so refreshing to see.

Well, some duties suit him. He still seems pretty stressed out at times, and not very adept at hiding it. During the most recent reception at BP he seemed really on edge. Often when he does investitures he still looks to me to be somewhat uncomfortable (perhaps, despite how many he's done now he's still nervous that he'll get something wrong?). But he always seems to relax and enjoy his time around folks in uniform, particularly first responders. He clearly feels at home with them, I assume because he's been one of them.

I agree Osipi that he's far more comfortable with his duties and engagements in recent months even though he is basically a shy person like his father and paternal grandmother.

I think wear the roles of husband, father and senior royal very well.
