In the diary of the PoW website you can read now about some more solo engagements of Camilla at the days when Charles visits the two African countries.

http://www.princeofwales.gov.uk/diary/index.html

Good for her, i think, to have more and more duties alone.

Thanks for the article, Skydragon!
Yet another patronage for the Duchess. I guess she is becoming a favourite for the patronages!
With her love for animals, I guess Camilla will just love this one.

Yes, but hope she remembers not to wear that fur-trimmed hat when she visits them though

It looks like a shearling coat (sheep skin).

I just got back from the grocery store in America and on the cover of a gossip magazine either The National Enquirer or The Star it said Camilla has so many death threats in England that it is hard to protect her. And that she has almost walked out on Charles a few times.

Is any of this true?

It was reported a while ago that the Duchess of Cornwall did indeed receive hate mail, a few even containing death threats. I guess the security might be tightened a bit but definitely not that much that it's hard to protect her. Only a few days ago Camilla was quietly shopping, and no special security measures were taken. And generally the Duchess doesn't have the air of an over-protected person or someone, who lives in fear for her life.
I can hardly believe that anyone takes those threats seriously. And Camilla definitely receives too many letters from her admirers and fans to be upset because of a few mails like that, least of all apset so much to walk out on Prince Charles!

If I were you, I wouldn't pay attention on such newspapers, and of course The Star and National Enquirer are not exactly the most trustworthy sources.

Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, top left, meets hairdresser Denise Glen, top right, one of her West Highland White dogs, and patient Gloria Davis, during a visit to Trinity Hospice in London, Tuesday Nov. 28, 2006. The visit, the first since the Duchess became Royal Patron to the facility in July 2006, coincides with the launch of a major redevelopment programme, which by summer 2008, will provide Trinity with a state-of-the-art In-Patient Center offering the finest specialist palliative care facility in the UK. NO, she is no harder to protect than any other member of the royal family. I very much doubt that she has considered, at this stage of the game, walking out on the man she has loved for over 30 years. IMO.

These magazines must be as laughable as the Sun!

Thank you to all for the nice pics Camilla looked great!
The pics with Zara are really nice. And i love the portrait pic where she´s brightly smiling.
The scarf she wore matched perfectley to her suit.

I´m looking forward to see some more pics of her engagements this week.
