The interesting thing is that she did so together with her former husband Andrew Parker
Bowles as he is the president of the EA Bowles of Myddelton House Society. His great-great-
uncle, legendary plantsman Edward Augustus (EA) Bowles had lived at the Myddelton House
and cultivated the garden.

So it's part of her son's ancestry - a nice gesture to bring Royal support into this project. Andrew Parker Bowles appears to be thankful that he could share a part of his life and his children with Camilla and that she is now a friend - and we all know what a reliable, loyal and helpful friend Camilla is. Its just so sad that Andrew lost his second wife so early. One would have wished him the same lasting happiness Camilla found with her second husband.

Royal Albert Hall in London.

According to the Daily Mail, its Dame Shirley Bassey. She looks fabulous!:flowers:

Is Camilla the Patron of this organization....didn't she attend the awards show last year?

She announced her engagement to Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones last month.

And it seems Katherine Jenkins has already started getting in shape for her impending nuptials, judging by her appearance on the red carpet at the Classical BRIT Awards tonight.

The 30-year-old singer showed off her slender frame and tiny waist in a stunning backless silver Victoria Beckham gown, complete with train, as she posed for photographers outside the Royal Albert Hall.

It was nice to see Camilla out and about carrying out 7-8 engagements in the last week or so. This certainly appears to be the pattern she has established - to have bursts of activity when she carries out a fair few engagements over a limited period of time, and then perhaps a few weeks of few sightings.
 
Clearly the press especially loved her speech. I would guess that would glean very favourable comments from them about her in the future.

Right, so we've had the Chelsea Flower Show (11 hours of programming by the Beeb... groan!) with shedloads of ROYALTY....

...followed by Literary Festivals..... (authors being nasty to other authors)....

... followed by.... YES ! decking... in all shapes, sizes, colours....

....followed by Garden Parties ...... at Buck House, at Holyrood ......

... followed by Agricultural Shows, Royal Highland Shows, more Flower shows....

AND MORE ROYALS disporting themselves all over the country.....

HOW can one get away from SUMMER ?????
 
I do hope the "Kitty Kat Girls" with Camilla don't lose the photo. Imagine being able to pull out a 20 year old photo when Camilla is Queen!!! What a souvenier.

Today, June 1st, the Duchess of Cornwall visited "Jungle City", where she viewed an exhibition of weaving
and painted animals as part of a project to protect endangered animals in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dealing with victims of sexual assualt seems to be one of the causes that Camilla has chosen to focus on. She has attended a number of related events in London in the last 18 months.
