Yes Kate was not surrounded with servants & helpers but when you have a new role, you would want all the help & advise you can get. She married into the royal family therefore she has to accept what comes with it.

I think though that this is a sign of the way things will go with William and Kate - a great cut down on the pomp and circumstance of the BRF. That was clear with the decision to travel to the Abbey by cars and to have the vast majority of the royals return the same way - with only a few carriages taking the wedding party back to BP. In times past all of the Queen's children and grandchildren along with the wedding party would have been in carriages but now cars and mini-buses are the way of the future.

I don't think that this is true. As far as I know the Dutch RF does have LIW's.

Maybe just the terminology is different, but if you have a Personal Assistance that would be the same as having a LIW, IMO

Well, I really hope they don't cut back too much on the pomp and circumstance--silly as they may be, those pomp and circumstance really add color to them.

So far, Kate has been aided quite well by Helen Asprey who is part of William's household. I wouldn't be surprised to see her, as well as the rest of William's household, in Canada. Just because she doesn't have an official "lady in waiting" doesn't mean she won't be advised and helped during visits.

Please note that off topic speculative posts about Kate not having children, or potential pregnancies have been deleted.

Let's stay on topic with the Duchess's Current Events.

I agree. I'm sure that there will be help available when she needs it.

Anyways It's nice seeing her out and about:)
I like her hair and the poncho.
Actually I think your post is a bit rough. Sun damage can age you prematurely - maybe that's what it is - she does have tanned skin, not the peaches and cream most Brits have.

Iteresting, but I have to wonder if this is true why she would feel the need to disguise herself.

Sarah is an excellent guess! She needs money and she's written children's books before.

I read a bit on the site and the company seems to be a bit anti-royal to me. I doubt Catherine would be involved with them in any way.

Duchess of Cambridge's bank account 'hacked' - Telegraph

Duchess of Cambridge's bank account 'hacked'

The Duchess of Cambridge had her bank details hacked by a private detective working for a tabloid newspaper, it was claimed.

First her mobile phone, which had been tried to hack into more than 100 times a day in 2006 and now this. Add the fact that in 2006 the media followed her every step when she tried to work in London after finishing her studies at St. Andrew's. No wonder the poor girl went home and started to work at her family's business, where she was more protected from the media....

Does anyone still call her lazy because of these choices she was to make because of being William's girlfriend? I'd say it's a wonder she took him back after their seperation in 2007 - must really be love between the two of them.

I'm very shocked and yet not really about all of this. I read somewhere Sienna Miller had the same problem. This kind of press in the UK is , putting kindly, absurd ! This has been happen for a while also. I wonder what some of this papers will claim...

They should start replacing "Source's close to the couple" with "Hacker/Stalker payed by us"

photos looked a bit blurry and didn't catch her in very good light. Not a huge fan of pink but she always looks nice. It looked like she had a fair amount of stuff in that bag. I wonder what was in it?

Love the bright pink of the dress, it seems to work for her. The LK Bennett shoes recycled from the day after their wedding when they were leaving BP look lovely as well.
