her picture is printed in the tatler of april 2005, very discreet, upperback, arms and a bit of leg is visible (she and all the other celebrities are wearing cartier jewelly and jimmy choo shoes)
Book is called "4 inches" and christies will auction 20 of the portraits

As promised (although a little late), the Duchess of York's photospread for Jimmy Choo's 4 Inches promotion campaign.

The image was taken by Pamela Hanson, who also photographed Sophie Dahl, Heidi Klum, Veronica Webb and Aimee Mullins. Sarah is in good company -- other women photographed: Iman, Paris Hilton, Laura Bailey, Jodie Kidd, Yasmin Le Bon, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Anne Heache, Emanuelle Seigner, Sam Taylor-Wood, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Tamara Beckwith, Rachel Hunter and more.

(And 10 per cent was right (sort of) -- in the foreward by Elton John in the press release I received it said that the publishers have committed to donating a minimum of 10% from every sale of the English donation. 100% of the proceeds raised through the sale of limited edition prints auctioned by Christie's will go the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

*Please don't post this image at other forums; it was provided for me through my occupation and is not to be mis-used.*

It looks tasteful and she seems happy.

It covers everything that needs to be covered.:)

She revealed today that Princess Beatrice is severley dyslexic. She said that to this day she still has a special tutor to help her with reading and writing.

The day before she visited Oliver Goldsmith School,
Sarah exhibited her pictures at the book store
Mondarori Multicenter in Milan, Italy.

I consider it great that Beatrice allowed her mother
to talk about her reading-and-writing problem! :)

I agree...very brave of Beatrice.
This is maybe really farfetched...but do you think their "shared" ancestors are the reason, why so many Royals suffer from dyslexia (the swedish king and his three children, crown prince Haakon-though he seems to suffer from a "lighter" form of it, princess Beatrice...)? Dyslexia is one of the most spread genetical diseases, but when I look at the Royals it seems, it´s even more spread. Then again maybe all that happened "by accident" and scientists couldn´t follow "defect" genes back to queen Victoria, when they would try.

I think "shared ancestors" makes them more likely to develop these things. I live in Amish country and the Amish marry their own cousins even, they inbreed just as much as the royals did. They have many mental, physical and developmental problems. Many are even still born.

I think it was very brave of her and she has nothing to be ashamed of. I don't think its a concern now because they are marrying commoners more often.

I have heard that she wasn't invited.

She doesn´t belong to the royal family anymore. She is the divorced wife of Andrew. Furthermore the public knows that she was incredibly close to Diana and so you would have thought of her seeing her walking to he wedding.

why didn't sarah attend charles' wedding?
I know it's a bit sad because she is the mother of two of the Queen's grandchildren, but she isn't officially a member of the family now, so she never gets an invite to events like this. I don't think she got an invite to Edward and Sophie's wedding either.

She was present at the Queen Mother's funeral though!

Things like that happen in families that go through tough divorces. Plus, it was Charles and Camilla's wedding, they can invite who they want. They aren't close to Sarah, I can see why they didn't invite her.

I have agree with that posts!

but Sarah,Duchess of York is no longer into Royals because she is DIVORCES! and she been friendly with her EX-husband Prince Andrew and the girls after divorces she took girls to New York for her daughter's birthday that very nice if Queen would found out?

didn't fergie have plastic surgery recently or something? it wasn't that great of a job because there are still heaps of wrinkles about her eyes...or is that just a result of squinting? :p

Hmmm...

I don't think she should be snubbed from every event. Funerals don't count.

She deserves much respect as the mother of Princess Beatrice and Eugeine.

I'm sure it also hurts the two princesses when Sarah can not attend events that they may want her support for.

I'm sure Charles would have rather invited Sarah than Earl Spencer to his wedding.
Who knows...

Thank you for posting the pics! Can anyone tell me about Sarahs popularity?
Is she a well liked person in Britain? thanks.

I totally agree. Some events her daughters probably want her at and she should be invited to them. She may be divorced but I don't think that should be the basis for her not going. THey let Camilla into the family for crying out loud.:( The least they could do is invite the mother of girls who are 9th and 10 th in line to the throne.

I am not saying Sarah should be invited to every royal event but ones where it is important to show family unity and where Beatrice and Eugenie need her support. Andrew and Sarah have a good relationship so its not like it is awkward between them.

Oh, dear - I suppose the Queen will have to have another little chat with her, then.

I thought she had a house ready to move to.

I thought she had moved out a long time ago and was renting a house. Geez. I have all my information messed up.

I think she did, and then she was getting into debt or something, or her lease ran out or whatever, and she moved back into Sunninghill where she was somehow living separately from Andrew under the same roof (which I suppose is possible in a place that size). But I thought she'd found a place recently to move to when Andrew moved to Royal Lodge (assuming that she wasn't going to move to Royal Lodge so she could live separately under the same roof there too!).

I think they should give Sarah a break. She's really come a long way.
As far as I know she has virtually flipped the bill for all of the childeren's expenses.

well! I hope she is invited to her own daughters weddings!

excuse me, does this mean she has paid for her children's expenses?

Good point, Reina. You know...it's sad, but considering how the Monarchy practically owns the children/heirs...you really have to stop and think. At first when I read your post, I laughed at the light hearted sarcasm. Then I thought.."Wait a minute." There might be some truth to Reina's statement. With the control factor the Monarchy exerts...one does have to wonder (or hope) that Fergie would be included in her own daughters weddings...
