Yes she tries to do good deeds but they are always overshadowed by her lack of common sense.

She should of broke free from it all when she had the chance, but she couldn't give up all the perks that came with being a former Royal.

She likes the lifesytle but doesn't want to act appropriate.

that is true. its just that she is geting older and her behavior is less appropriate to a middle aged woman.

ANDREW'S PRAISE BRINGS TEARS TO FERGIE'S EYES

When the Duchess of York was named Mother Of The Year in New York this week she wasn't expecting a glowing tribute from her former husband.

"I am delighted and pleased that Sarah has been recognised as a super mother," said the Prince - father to the couple's girls Beatrice and Eugenie. "I have been the silent beneficiary of her brilliance in the ways she brought up our two wonderful daughters." Sarah Ferguson Offered "Today" Show Once-A-Month Segment

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has landed a presenting role on the most-watched morning news program.
The duchess will front a once-a-month-segment on NBC's "Today" show called "Stories from the heart."
She said, "I'm going to be a regular on 'Today.' Stories from the heart. Like how you lose weight."
Producers Amy Rosenblum and Debbie Kosofsky are both very excited about the prospect of a royal presenting the popular slot. They told Britain's Daily Mirror, "It was an experiment, but it's doing well. She'll be on every month."

Personally I can't understand why there wasn't a "Keep your trap shut" (Non disclosure) clause in her divorce settlement. The royal lawyers definitely slipped up here. Given Sarah's lack of discretion it really needed a legal instruction to stop her talking - and probably the threat of loosing any money she recieved & custody of her children.

Give a child all they want, allow them to do what they want, never say no and of course they will adore you. It does not make you a good mother!

It does make you wonder if they think that if they say it often enough it will become true. Just who they are trying to convince!

I personally like that her ex is proud of her and to me it is nice to hear. And as for the girls who they know and who they party with does not make them do what others do I am sure they know right from wrong no matter what their mother and father may do.

They are her daughters too, if she can't talk about them as any normal parent would do, there's something wrong. She is proud of them. As for taking them to clubs, you are going to run in people used drugs anywhere, as well as other criminals. There at least one teacher at each of their schools arrested for porn.

Actually that's what I like about this family. They're very supportive of each other when speaking to the press. This speaks volumes because I can imagine what ammunition the press would use against one of them if the other members of the family aired their petty grievances to the press. Andrew and Sarah don't slag each other off in public like other ex-couples do and the girls seem to genuinely admire their parents.

I would find it totally tasteless if they slagged each other in public and Sarah is taste-challenged to begin with so I'd rather not encourage them to let us in on every little detail about each other that they don't like.

It would be like a Royal version of Big Brother and I'm not interested in that.

All "normal" parents are proud of their children but don't constantly carry on about them all the time in a mawkish way, giving details about their lives that should remain private.

Responsible parents don't take their teenage children - one just 16 years old - to clubs which are known havens for drugs, alcohol and antisocial behaviour. To say they will "run into drugs anywhere" is ridiculous and untrue. What the girls' teachers do is out of Sarah's control but hanging about with the likes of Kate Moss and some American rap singer (can't even remember his name) should be something Sarah, at 47, is well past and shouldn't be encouraging in her young daughters.

As a teacher I couldn't agree more - I would be horrified to find that parents of my students were taking their impressionable daughters to places like this.

My sister-in-law has daughters the same ages as Beatrice and Eugenie and her comments on Sarah's parenting is not repeatable as she would never take her daughters to these sorts of places, or allow them to go there, as she believes that she has to set appropriate standards of acceptable behaviour for her daughters. Sarah seems to feel that clubs, drug associations etc are acceptable places for her daughters which must send, at best, mixed messages to the girls - who is right their mother, or others who tell them that these places are not where they should be.

Well he's certainly more of an authority on her parenting skills then we are. If he can be kind and supportive of her,who are we to say hat we know better?
