I think she tells a story like this herself on one of the recent DVD's either Windsor or Monarchy. I love it when we get to hear Her Majesty tell stories, it adds a whole layer of personality and humor.
 
sorry around 300 people, and yes she met every single one of us. We were all nominated by strategic health authorities.HM appeared tiny but with most amazing sparkly eyes and genuine interest in us all.

As often as I've seen pictures of Princess Marina, I didn't recognize her in that photo. The man in front of her looks familiar as well, but I have no idea who he is.:flowers:

The lady in front of prince phillip in the black and white picture is Princess Marina.

The man in front of Marina is the Earl of Athlone and the man behind Prince Phillip is his best man the Marquess of Milford Haven.
