fans when he announced in December 2007 that he had been diagnosed
with early onset Alzheimer's disease.

Prince Philip attended the opening as well, you can see him on pic 4

Here are two more pics from yesterday, the Queen also presented Mr
Alvaro Siza from Portugal with the 2009 Royal Gold Medal for Architechture
and received His Excellency the Ambassador of Slovenia Mr Iztok Jarc at
a private presentation in Buckingham Palace, London, February 26, 2009

It amazes me time and time again how HM,an octagenarian,keeps up with her agenda.Fantastic,impeccable Lady.Bravo,exemplary.
Many of her family members could take some lessons from her.

Thanks for that picture, iceflower! She certainly is a sprightly 82-year-old, isn't she? It's great that she and Prince Philip are both still so active.

Wonder if she'd like to follow TRF on Twitter...:D
 
I hope her twitter is less inane than what I've been hearing most celebrities have been posting. I don't really need to know (or want to know) that the queen is eating bangers and mash for supper.
 
I love the colours on HMs dress... that is a lovely (and daring!) shade of yellow!

im sorry , but the queen's hat is awful !she looks clorful today ;i think if she change the yellow hat with a green or brown hat , would be beter !
