Wow she really is not slowing down. Three state visits in one month. That is a lot. Has it been confirmed? But, I am happy she is visiting the Baltic states.

So, the news that she is going to stop her oversea visits were speculation. HM usually does one or two trips per year. This year she's going to Australia and Singapore in spring and to the Baltic countries in October; this makes two trips: the right number.

It was said that she'd be cutting down on them - not stopping them altogether. Let's not rubbish the news stories just yet.

Love the combined arms this month Warren!! The symbolism was brought on by the First World War if I remember correctly - to show the unity of the Empire, and that the Hungarians weren't forgotten.?

Queen marks 54th year of reign

The Queen marked the 54th year of her reign and the anniversary of the death of her father by attending the Sunday service at a Sandringham church.
The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied her to West Newton church in Norfolk.
During the morning service the Queen presented 17 Sunday school pupils with awards for good attendance.
