The man leaving the theater with the Queen and the Duke looks like Lord Brabourne, so it's likely the other lady is Lady Brabourne, and not the Countess of Wessex.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II greets well-wishers during a visit to Stafford Market Square, 31 March 2006, to mark the 800th anniversary of the Royal Charter of Stafford. Earlier today, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh attended a service of thanksgiving at Stafford's Collegiate Church of St Mary before unveiling a piece of commemorative artwork in the square:

Prince Philip and his stranger pleasure of being a taxi driver in London

Prince Philip has fulfilled the dream of his life - to have a big and ecological taxi in green color and to be able to drive on the streets of London without calling the attention of his subdits.

30 of March of 2006.

Some curious, journalists and photographers who waited at the door of Victoria Palace Theatre of London didn't want to give credit to what they saw.

The Queen of England, Elizabeth II, and her husband, Prince Philip, arrived in a taxi at the function of theater instead of using their habitual official car.

The Queen, on the verge of turning 80 years, attended at night with the Duke of Edimburgo the function of "Billie Elliot", the musical comedy of Elton John, based on the film of the same name, which is harvesting an enormous success since it was released in May of 2005 and it is developed in the 80's, in the heat of Thatcher era.

Queen Elizabeth II, instead of using her usual Bentley or the Daimler, was seen smiling when descending from a typical London taxi, with a program of the show under the arm.

Due to the expectancy generated, a spokesman of Buckingham Palace clarified the next day that it had been a "private excursion" of the royal couple, and that the vehicle was not an "authentic" taxi that stopped in the street, but of a car that has belonged for years to the Duke of Edimburgh and that is used bu the Duke to drive on the streets of London without calling the attention.

Following an advice of his son, Prince Charles, very aware of ecological subjects, the automobile has been turned to work with gas, that emits a toxic gas level much lower.

Regards,
mtbcm :)

The Queen looked fantastic, it's incredible that she's almost 80 and yet she looks so vibrant, young and happy! Red is a great colour on her, and as always she accessorizes with some elegant jewellery.

These two pictures are my favourites, they are both so clear and lovely: http://img87.imageshack.us/my.php?image=44av.jpg

Thanks everyone for the pics!

Ive also heard that she is good with a camera and videorecorder. I cant wait to see the royal family as a normal family. I just read somewhere that Charles used to set up a trampolene in the ballroom and him and the boys would jump on it. You never know what happens behind closed palace doors.
