Events like these are not commonly targeted for teenagers. The ones that are, while still high society, are different. As a teenager, I only go to the ones targeted for adults. Yes, alcohol is served (including, legally, to people under 21, 18, 16). Does that mean I partake in *anything* that could be considered wrong in any way, shape, or form? No. I was raised to extremelly conservative standards and I willfully have always followed them. This includes my manner of dress, speech, respect, conduct, actions.
Why am I sharing this? Because that's the reason I
don't go to parties targeted for teenagers! I know for a fact when the teenagers that choose to go to adult parties with me get together as a group of teenagers- they act much, much worse. So, perhaps Bea and Eugenie don't go to teenage parties often for that very reason? I think being at those parties would give more reasons to cause scandal and upset- think of Eugenie's teenage party.
You will see me disagree with a lot of things the girls wear and much they do- but I think this reasoning should at least be considered. I mentioned in a previous post that anyone can PM me for a couple pictures of the way I and people dress at things like this. In those pictures, you'll also see how much younger I am than almost everyone else- and that often I'm not the only one not holding a drink.
That said, like Eugenie, I often dress older than my age. I prefer that to what Beatrice wears.
Also, for some certain functions, it's important to remember that Beatrice may play polo with some of these people- the people twice my age at the parties I go to are also my teammates, and that's very, very common for a teenage polo player.
My reasoning shared- I was going to refrain from commenting, but the cuts on Bea's dresses are NOT acceptable! This one was not simply hideous- it was, IMO, flat out wrong.
