Well it is near the end of August and Kate hasn't yet been to Balmoral
Fortunately the general public has no sure way of knowing whether Kate has been to Balmoral or not. :D

Well it is near the end of August and Kate hasn't yet been to Balmoral so now that they are back from the Caribbean I suppose they must be heading to Balmoral for the 'meeting' with the Queen.

I was surprised that you only quoted part of my sentence as it did change the meaning of the sentence.

The quote you left suggests that I was contradicting the reports that Kate was expected to go to Balmoral whereas the entire sentence makes it clear that there was a possibility that she would be going after the holiday in the Caribbean.

I might also ask why you took a quote from over a week ago - namely 29th August whereas we are now at the end of the first week of September as today is the 7th so my original post had a meaning on the date posted as there were reports that Kate would be at Balmoral during August and as of the 29th she hadn't been but that there was still time.

I 'took' your sentence from Warrens post (207) made earlier today!:whistling:

Warren's post though made it clear that he had taken part of a post through the use of the dots at the end. Yours didn't.

He made a comment that took my original comment to the next alleged meeting that Kate could have whereas you only commented on a post from over a week ago without taking it forward, which is why I queried the fact that you took part of a quote and then commented only on the past without taking the discussion to the next point.

Sorry but I find it disconcerting when a post I made over a week ago is then used out of context and without any indication that only part of the post is being used.

If you say so!

I don't know where you expected me to 'take it'. I have answered you as to how I quoted your old post, so I really can't see what your problem is.

Prince William is to take another step towards becoming the Prince of Wales by holding a secret reception for his future Duchy of Cornwall subjects.
The private event will be held at Highgrove, his father's Gloucestershire country home, on Monday.

To be honest I'm surprised he's already being groomed for taking this over. I guess I didn't expect it for a few more years or at least not until he finished his RAF stint. But I guess it can't hurt to start training him.

I give him bravery points - I would've fainted, or screamed my head off!

'Sweaty' Prince William holds tarantula - Telegraph

It was meant to be the day Prince William declared his love of the natural world and told of the debt he owes his mother and father

Prince William faced a fear by meeting and holding Sarah the tarantula shortly before he opened the new multi-million pound Darwin Centre at the Natural History Museum in London.

I'm glad he's interested in nature and the environment. It looks like quite an impressive place! I wish we could see more pics of the inside.
He looks like a real scientist here :D

PRINCES William and Harry met servicemen wounded in Afghanistan on a secret and emotional visit to a hospital after a personal plea from their father.

The two young Princes went to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at Selly Oak in Birmingham last *Friday after Prince Charles told them it was “full to the gunnels” with injured military personnel who needed cheering up.

Well done to William, Harry and Prince Charles for doing their best to help (emotionally, in this case) the soldiers. I am sure their visit was appreciated.

Is it just my Canadian ears, or do other people find William hard to understand? He seems to speak very quickly. I could understand the other interviewees much more easily.:ermm: I also find Harry easier to understand.

I can understand him but I have to listen carefully because of his English accent. Words are kind of distorted.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed when I firstly listened Will's voice. He speaks so quickly... such horrible, Harry was much better. Anyway, it's difference when you see brothers only on photos and when you see them on TV interview. I've always had another imagination about William. However, Harry was exactly as I thought. Yeah, he's good :)
