He has a lovely smile and beautiful teeth so his dentist seems to be doing a good job.
I only wonder at the 10 years, aren´t these braces supposed to be corrective? I had no idea that it would take so long. It is invisible and has taken all this time to appear in a photo so I can´t see why it is being commented on now, nothing else to say it seems.

Sometimes after the corrective brace it is necessary to have a permanent brace fitted otherwise the corrective work doesn't remain in place.
The article clearly says that this brace is a permanent one after having had the corrective ones at 14 about 10 years ago he had a permanent one fitted.
That suggests to me that a couple of years after the original corrective treatment the work wasn't remaining in place so a permanent brace was fitted.

Thanks for explaining IluvB, I had no idea that a brace could be permanent, I am only sorry that this kind of invisible brace didn´t exist when I needed it.

I think (at least in Canada) it would be called a "bottom retainer" or something like that. I didn't realize there were permanent ones either until a few weeks ago when a couple of friends, who are William's age, happened to mention that they had one. I think it's just to prevent your teeth from moving over time.

Hmm yeah they do in the UK, they usually have them in after they've had the full set of braces taken off.
But I never recall William having the full set.

I wore braces for 3 years and then a retainer for 6 after words.... I had the retainer taken out and my bottom teeth shifted just so slightly ...

PUPILS enjoying an impromptu kick-about during a school trip to an RAF base were royally stunned when Prince William turned up and joined in their game.

Diana would be proud of him. The Princess raised her sons to be able to relate to the common person as well as aristocratic.

The Mirror also said this about their night out: Prince Harry celebrated passing his helicopter pilot's licence with a boozy night out in a club.

"Harry and William celebrated at the Troubadour. They watched a friend's band until 2am." Rumour has it Kate was there but no pictures ever surfaced.
