He certainly appears to be enjoying himself.....not really the picture of a reluctant royal, resentful of taking on public duties.

Surely his detractors would have noticed that this engagement was a sunny Friday..... which can only mean that Wills have the weekend off.... clear sign of nepotism............bending rules.......waste of government funding

The second in line to the throne is clearly having trouble keeping his teeth in line with themselves.

He has a lovely smile and beautiful teeth so his dentist seems to be doing a good job.
I only wonder at the 10 years, aren´t these braces supposed to be corrective? I had no idea that it would take so long. It is invisible and has taken all this time to appear in a photo so I can´t see why it is being commented on now, nothing else to say it seems.

Sometimes after the corrective brace it is necessary to have a permanent brace fitted otherwise the corrective work doesn't remain in place.
The article clearly says that this brace is a permanent one after having had the corrective ones at 14 about 10 years ago he had a permanent one fitted.
That suggests to me that a couple of years after the original corrective treatment the work wasn't remaining in place so a permanent brace was fitted.

Thanks for explaining IluvB, I had no idea that a brace could be permanent, I am only sorry that this kind of invisible brace didn´t exist when I needed it.

I think (at least in Canada) it would be called a "bottom retainer" or something like that. I didn't realize there were permanent ones either until a few weeks ago when a couple of friends, who are William's age, happened to mention that they had one. I think it's just to prevent your teeth from moving over time.

Hmm yeah they do in the UK, they usually have them in after they've had the full set of braces taken off.
But I never recall William having the full set.
