He will be posted where he gets posted, they do a strict rotation of crews and hopefully William will be no exception. If you look on it that the Falkland Islanders will welcome him with open arms as opposed to the Argentinians being upset....
It is no different to him being posted to Afghanistan, many of them wouldn't welcome him either!

That's true - hadn't thought about that! Anyway, I think he'll do fine where ever he goes.

PRINCE William will do his bit to resurrect the plight of British Water Polo as their London 2012 hopes hang by a thread

Well i'm glad to see William getting behind something he loves and is good at. It would be a shame if Water Polo didn't happen in the olympics.

Here's an image which does not fit in to your usual picture of the Royals.
Prince William left the polo today, put on his leathers, and rode off into the sunset on a Ducati motorbike

It's certainly a great way to travel around incognito!

Quite not incognito, if the daily mail photographers have recognised him. But it would be a good way to travel around; I agree, a nice way to hide from the nasty press.
He does look exceddingly un-princely like in the leathers.

The trainee RAF helicopter pilot is more used to planning sorties and checking weather forecasts than legal argument.
But in the ceremony on Monday at London's Middle Temple the Prince was not only called to the Bar - to be made a honorary barrister - but called to the Bench, the Inn's governing body.

I wondered the same thing, rchat. It's a bracelet of some kind, with an engraved message on it. I tried to use my photo program to read it from this photo, but to no avail...

Is this the bracelet you mean?

Tidbit: That night, Prince William was wearing a copper bracelet with “Heroes” inscribed on it. Perhaps a tribute to the troops in the front line? Prince William had paid a secret visit to the British military personnel in Afghanistan in April.

Yes, that looks like it. I noticed Harry has various things on his wrist too. Hm, interesting.
