I personally don't think William is dating either girl...I think they are just friends of his, and because the press is so hungry for a romance story on him they were chosen because they are beautiful and around. I honestly don't think we will know who William is dating until he is good and ready to come out and say, "I'm dating so and so...meet so and so..." He watched as his parents lived their love life out in the public arena and it wasn't the greatest experience, I think he'll probably to keep his love life on the down low...knowing first hand what it can do to people in the public arena.

I just saw a tabloid last night saying that Will was to wed Kate. It shocked me since I read that they've only known or been 'dating' whatever you want to call it for like 4 months. I don't believe it, but you really never know with tabloids. Sometimes they actually have truthful stories. Not very often, but sometimes.

do you think that Charles should have taken William along to the spanish wedding (charles was not at the danish wedding himself) so that he can get to know other royals.

Madeleina and carl philip of sweden have done so since they was 17 - 18 and madleine is just a few days older then william. and they will not be king or queen one day as william.

your thoughts on this

I think it's time William starts doing so, I mean he's 21 and will be the king one day. Almost every other royal in Europe are/were doing that by this age, even earlier. Lie Swedish royals, as you said, and also Andrea from Monaco.

I don't know about the Swedish but Andrea also goes to uni, has a personal (private) life and it doesn't stop him from making official engagements.

Britain's Prince William Hints at Military Career

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Prince William said on Saturday he may follow family tradition when he finishes university and pursue a career in the armed forces. The 21-year-old student gave the broadest hint yet he would follow in the footsteps of his father, uncles and grandfather.

"A career in the armed services would be the best thing at the moment because it would be lovely to recognize all the hard work that the armed forces are doing," the prince told reporters during a photocall at his father the Prince of Wales' farm in Gloucestershire.

"I wouldn't do it (go into the armed services) reluctantly because I really value all the efforts and the professionalism of those guys."

"I would do it wholeheartedly and enjoy doing it."

Joining a branch of Britain's armed forces is seen as a rite of passage for young male royals. Even the Queen's youngest son, the Earl of Wessex, spent several months with the Royal Marines before quitting to make his way as a television producer.

William, who is second in line to the throne after his father, said choosing a career was not the most pressing thing on his mind.

"I just want to graduate and pass my exams," said the prince who is studying geography at the University of St Andrews in Scotland

Wills becomes a farmer for a day

Prince William got to grips with some farm chores at the weekend, when he spent the day helping out on his father's estate. The 21-year-old was shown how to check sheep and lambs for foot rot at the Prince of Wales' Duchy Home Farm near Highgrove.

With a little help from shepherd Ken Foster, Wills got to work by taking a bleating lamb from the flock and making sure its hooves were all healthy. But his next charge, a 13-stone ewe, proved rather more challenging. The statuesque prince had to use all his strength to wrestle the reluctant animal to the ground. But he soon got the better of the creature and, after checking her hooves, signalled the all-clear.

William - who has often been less at ease in the presence of the press than his younger brother Harry - seemed particularly confident and relaxed as he laboured in front of journalists and cameramen. Showing off his driving skills by using a tractor to clear a field of thistles, he quipped: "If anyone wants their lawn cut, give me a ring."

The rural photocall was staged as part of an agreement between Clarence House and the media to allow the Prince privacy the rest of the year. And staff at the farm seemed impressed with their royal helper's talent for animal-husbandry. "William spent much of his childhood here," revealed manager David Wilson. "Both he and Harry would help out with the lambing each year. He would make a good farmer."

The prince has meanwhile been dropped as captain of St Andrew's University water polo team. Apparently it was decided to replace him because he has been unable to attend regular training sessions.

Wills makes a fleecy friend at the Gloucestershire farm

The proprieter of Duchy Home Farm was also on hand to keep an eye on his son's efforts

Feeding the Home Farm's pigs was just one of the several animal husbandry tasks Wills was assigned

Father and son also took a moment to inspect the farm's bovine community
