And it's odd that the article says they want "quality time", then says their "inner circle" will join them. If they are trying to rekindle their romantic relationship, why wouldn't they go for a holiday just the two of them? Why do they always travel in such large packs?

Since the discussion of William's being able to marry without consent now he's reached 25 was covered earlier in the thread and the recent reprise is beginning to dominate, I've split it out and moved it to its own thread in the main British forum entitled Royal Marriages Act.
Discussion about this Act and its relevance to Prince William, Princess Margaret, and historical royals should take place in that thread.

PRINCE William is in Warminster for the final stages of his army reconnaissance training.
The prince arrived at the camp on Monday July 2 and will be resident while he completes his training at the Land Warfare Centre in Imber Road

None of that has been announced, but I would have thought he will get some army experience before receiving training in any of the other arms.

Why hadn't there any word on how he did in the Live fire exercises unlike his brother? When Harry finished the live fire section of trianing there were about how spectacular in the exercises (record score) where as for William we did not hear had finished until two almost two weeks after had finished that part of the training. Is it because he only did average on the live fire exercises?

It's more likely that the gossip columns have been too busy writing stories about Kate and William to spend time writing articles about anything else that might be going on in his life.

Most definitely. I'm not sure I believe he will be able to do anything in the navy. Maybe helicopter flying? He said he is interested in flying helicopters and this is something he can do from a practical point of view, considering his height. There are no height restrictions for the helicopters, right? But is he really going to be put through Dartmouth Naval College just so he can fly a helicopter? I can't see him, after all the Army training, going then into a major naval course and serving on a ship somewhere. And then, apparently, he'll have to get some kind of RAF wings (certainly not jets?) like his father did. I hope no one reasonably expects he'll be finished with all that in just two years!

There are height restrictions for helicopters and planes in the RAF. You must be over 5ft, and under 6ft 4in. Piloting any craft is out for William though. You must have perfect vision without spectacles and if you have had laser surgery, that is not counted as perfect vision. Even flight crew have a maximum height and weight. In 'real' RAF life he is not 'up to muster' to become a pilot because he does not have the required uncorrected sight. There are other occupations within the RAF though.
I have no idea about the RN but I would have thought the same rules apply to their pilots.

i dont know if this is the right place for this question, but i wasn't sure where else to put it....
after he is married, will William's wife outrank Camilla - presuming Charles isn't yet king?

The question would perhaps do better in Questions About Titles thread, but here is the short answer: no, William's wife would not outrank Camilla.
If Queen Elizabeth is alive when William marries, Camilla will hold precedence over her.
If Charles is King when William marries, Camilla will automatically hold precedence over all women in the Kingdom, including Prince William's wife.
If Camilla outlives Charles, William's wife, as Queen, will hold precedence over all women in the Kingdom. Camilla will likely be second (she may come after William's daughters, I'm not sure about this).
