Anything about William? Is he really anywhere but England or maybe Scotland?

He should be back at Sandhurst soon! It could be a shock going back to work after a holiday.

Prince William is in Ibiza, Balearics Islands (Spain)
http://www.diariodeibiza.es/seccione...aEjemplar=null
The prince William of England came to Eivissa on Monday night at 22:40 in the flight of Iberia 1778, proceeding from Barcelona. The one that occupies the second position in the succession of the British throne, behind his father Charles of England, has come to the island accompanied by two escorts though not for his girlfriend Kate Middleton, on whom already one assures that she is the firm one candidat to princess.
After landing in the from Ibiza track, the prince Guillermo went down the plane and was led directly to a car, a monovolume of rent, with which he was moved to the exit of the airport but not for the habitual one for the passengers but for more discreet other one, which is close to the facilities of the offices of Civil Aviation.
In land he was waited by a personal assistant who goes a few days in the island preparing the stay of the inheritor. The exact place and the duration of the stay have not come out but yes it has been known that he will not pass many days in the island though the visit will extend up to the weekend.

This sort of thing just annoys me. What on earth is the point of him being President of Football and Rugby organisations? Surely he'd do much better working with "Help the Aged" or "Oxfam" and if he's going to take on these kind of patronages then it's those sort of organisations that should get his patronage. Sickening.

Hm, I guess these organizations represent a lot of Britons, too and thus might want to have Royal patrons, too. While I cannot see the Duchess of Cornwall become patron of the Welsh Rugby team ( ), it's a nice enough way for young and sportif prince William to show that his sports world does not only consist of "posh" polo but that he recognizes the value of football and rugby as well. I guess we'll see a lot of more charitable patronages when he finally marries - well, come to think about it, probably his wife will take over the care for the seniors and the homeless (maybe even donating her old clothes to Oxfam stores?).

In my mind, the charities should come first. I know I couldn't care less if the Football Association plummets into nothingness. Still as long as the footballers are doing well for themselves on several thousand pounds a day, that's all we need worry about. Yes, good work William, we must make sure The Rooneys can afford those burberry tracksuits, never mind about the sick or the elderly or the disadvantaged, they can wear their Man U shirts whilst they shrivel to nothingness and oh how proud we'll be that Prince William was the one to help keep those footballers at the top.

This is probably some sort of attempt to make the Prince appear more relevant to young people than if he took on the sort of charities that his great aunts might be patronising. I wonder if it'll work.

I also think that these charities he is chosing are for his own interests and not necessarily because it is the thing to do. I know if I wasn't interested in the charity and had to do one, I wouldn't want to do it and probably wouldn't be too interested in advancing its cause. Interest is something to consider. Now do I think he should be doing those sort of charities--don't know yet. I do know that he will get the total treatment and the best seats.

There is a story on the front of an earlier edition of the Evening Standard (local London paper) today saying that William and Kate are on holiday at a private villa on Ibiza (or the 'party island' as they call it) with a group of friends and 2 of William's minders. It talks about how they have been able to pass relatively unnoticed.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Prince William will be returning to Sandhurst after this holiday, and he's supposed to come out in December?
IMO these next few months are going to be crucial for Kate Middleton as far as image and public perception of her worth are concerned.
Because that silly book comes out this month about her and William's relationship, it's sure to start another backlash of smarmy 'love me love my Kate' press copy and complaints from those who resent the smarmy press copy....(big fat catch 22 eh? )
Since most people don't take constant vacations in the fall I bet that after this holiday Kate will probably move forward with any career recovery plans she's made since her children's clothing company went bust.
(at least I hope so for the sake of Prince Williams popularity in the court of public opinion. )
I'm actually looking forward to what Prince William will do after he leaves Sandhurst in December.

Prince William jets off with Kate to party island Ibiza
Surrounded by suntanned beauties, Prince William was soaking up the holiday atmosphere yesterday. Lazing on a luxury yacht with bikini-clad girls, he wore a permanent grin like a cat that got all the cream.

While William is holidaying in Ibiza "surrounded by suntanned beauties and lazing on luxury yachts with bikini-clad girls" (Kate's there too),
we will move to a new thread.
