thanks for the link Princessof Europe. the photos are good but nothing spectacular - they're just catalogue shots. if she wants a career in photography she'll need to build an impressive portfolio, if she hasn't already done that. most photographers find their "niche" i.e. fashion, wedding, children, pets, product, nature, etc. i hope she does well if this is what she really wants to do.

At the moment, the pics show that she at least has a certain talent and some knowledge. I have no doubt that once she is engaged or married to William the whole world is queuing to be fotographed by the future queen of the Uk, so the portfolio will come in time as will her fame based on the fact that she has talent and is learning more and more on working in that field.

And if she decides not to get married to William or isn't ever asked, there is at least a base from which to build a career.

Just think of queen Margrethe of Denmark who never had a "career" as an artist herself but is reknown for her talent and knowledge. Same could be the outcome here: HRH The Princess William as an acknowledged artist without the need to make money from her art. Or Ms. Middleton as an acknowledged artist, living from funds she either inherits or earns.

The Mail is simply trying to stir up a storm and sell papers. Working for your parents can, I am told, be so much harder than working for another company. Parents invariably have higher expectations of you!

i understand where you're coming from and i agree...if they were to get engaged, and she did try have a career as a photographer she certainly wouldn't have any problem finding people to pose for her. "art" is a very personal thing so for me, the party site pics are so simple, any child could have taken them and done an equally good job. i practice photography purely for my own enjoyment and i've been employed in the industry and seen lots of talented people take amazing photos and never make a dime off them and you're right, catherine may be one of those people.

There were a handful of photos on Harry and Chelsy, but a ton on Kate. In a couple shots, she appeared to be aware of when the cameras are focused on her. Really nice dress but the "slash to the navel" discription at DM was wide of the mark. They just can't leave well enought alone. :)

I have to say that Kate looks stunning in that pink dress. Every inch the Princess.

From this article (about William and Jecca Craig - William attended the event with Catherine, but Jecca was present as well):

"William, who allegedly enjoyed a teenage romance with the brunette beauty, recently chose to holiday with her in Africa rather than attend the wedding of his cousin, Peter Phillips."

Where does this weird idea comes from? Okay, it's the D...y Mail, but still...

If I'm not mistaken, that's Kate talking to Jecca at the ball. look for photo with ID#is-19518346 or -19518347.

Jecca's boyfriend also participated as a boxer that night, which is why she was there. I've read accounts that Jecca was there ringside to cheer him on, naturally.

Kate looks very lovely, as usual. In heels she appears to be almost as tall as William. She's a knockout in person. Her eyes.

Did William have to much to drink again? It looks like he's a little out of it when he left. Oh, and William sat with Jecca!

I think it was reported that William attended the wedding of Jecca's brother in Kenya instead of Peter's. And it was also reported that he already left on Monday though the wedding took place on Saturday, hence one could claim that he "vacationed" there for a week unless the wedding celebrations took a whole week.

Yes those pics show Kate and Jecca, they also holidayed together with other friends in Kenya in 2005 and in the Caribbean in 2006. There are pics of Holly Branson and Jecca as well. They all seem to know each other and be friends.

This is tiresome. As I said before, Jecca Craig was there to cheer on her boyfriend, who also boxed that night.

William and Kate sat together and were together, as pictures bore out. I'm sure William and Jecca sat together, as they are long friends. Stop trying to insinuate garbage. There are other message forums full of Kate haters who peddle that kind of trash.

Kate must have one high up navel if that dress is 'daringly slashed' to it.

It wouldn't surprise me if William and Jecca happened to be at the same table. Given her boyfriend is in the ring, and William's social position, they would naturally be placed at the top table anyway. It's just how most events seats the guests. William was seen talking to the boyfriend also.

Dearest, please! This is the most well-behaved forum about Royality and what we are trying to do is joking a bit about the stupidity of part of the media. Thus, we're neither tiresome nor are we "insinuating garbage". So please, tread us with some respect at least or change forums.

Um, it seems that no one agrees, but was I the only one that thought Kate looked harshly thin in that dress? I didn't particularly like the colour, though that's personal choice, but she just looked, frankly, like a plank in that gown, and the way the bust plunged and ruched infasized that she has absolutely no chest. Normally I'm the biggest Kate supporter, but I just didn't really apreciate that dress. Otherwise she looked stuning though... I think she's really starting to blosom into a "princess" for lack of a better word...
