Cute picture of them and it does look like it's from a cell phone.
I don't think that they should spend Christmas together with William's family until they are married. I don't think that Kate needs that kind of stress right now. I'm sure they will get together with Charles and Camilla perhaps on Boxing Day or Christmas Eve, but having her with the royals for the Big Gathering, I don't think it's a good idea. Not because she wouldn't be welcome, but because the word would get out and it would be Big News and the pressure to set a wedding date would increase exponentially. If they do decide to marry, I don't think that they would be ready to announce their engagement until at least after Charles turns 60, and probably not until 2009.
 
why is the media trying to make it sound as if it's wrong if she doesn't spend xmas with the RF? i don't get it...suddenly it's a bad thing if you don't spend xmas with your own family?????
 
The UK is being treated to a comparison of Catherine and Diana next week (or the week after). They will do anything to sell stories it would seem, this one goes under the guise of should the press back off! :bang:

Ok I think smaller versions of these pics were posted before. People were commenting on Kate's no-make-up thing, or whatever. Well, here is the big versions. I like her sweater, the belt is ok (and she wore the belt again to the Boujis party ^). But her skirt is ugly, and whatever is all underneath it, ugly.

On another more serious note...its all about selling newspapers. Unless one is engaged I don't its expected that you spend your holiday with your boyfriends family.

Yep. It's down to personal choice, not expectation. It's silly to have too many rules and expectations about other people. I think it's better to trust others to know what they are doing, and to know what is best for them and their situation. In the end, they are going to do what they want anyway. They're not coming to see our advice for them, are they? Now that would be silly. :D

The only thing about the bar scene is can you become heavy drinkers. I am worry that the princes are going to have major problems with drink in the future.:flowers:
 
^ Problems in the future? Shoot, some of us I think are concerned they have a problem now. :ermm: At least I am concerned, though of course I hope I am wrong. But oh my, I know I should not believe the Daily Mail, but they said that at the boujis party, Branson and the Princes and Kate, and Beatrice all consumed something like 25 bottles of champagne that night! I am hoping that the Mail misunderstood something. I know sometimes they can have the false impression, like maybe some of them bought bottles for the house or a larger group than was known.

Nothing says love like hauling around the dead bodies of poor defenseless animals that you've just murdered.
 
OMG that looks so gross! How do you just carry dead birds around like that. If that were me I would be carrying some tweezer thing to pick them up!

Very easily with gloves! :D And they are delicious when cooked properly.
 
some people would do anything for lovvvvvve. She'll probably stop retrieving the dead birds once she gets a tiara on her head. then the true Kate will immerge. IMHO

William and Kate have been together for a few years now.She grew up in the country and seems to actually like country pursuits that the RF participate in. I find it impossible to believe she would be able to keep up a pretense quite this long without William realizing it. And I suspect the RF also are making sure they know the real Kate. IMO I think RF want to avoid another "Diana' situation.

That's what I think, too. I wouldn't be astonished if the story about them sharing his apartment at Clarence House are true. If they are back in a serious relationship, than it must be in the best interest of Charles and Camilla to see as much as they can of the girl in order to be able to give William their honest and well-founded advice. They surely don't want another "Diana"-situation - not for William who should better not find out that he has married a girl who only pretended to like his occupations but found his real soulmate and for the RF who needs a stable and warm-hearted new princess if the monarchy is to survive into the next century.

As for Catherine stopping these hunting trips after an eventual marriage: it is known that Camilla does not like them either but is always there when the hunters return with a thermos of hot tea and some sandwhiches to help celebrate the hunter's success. Why not? My father loved fly-fishing and while my mother was bored to death by his hobby, she always came visting and brought a lunch basket with her which they both shared and had a good time....
 
I've been out of the loop for a while, but this could be a good sign for the future for William and Kate. :flowers: if its true.

PRINCE William and Kate Middleton are secretly living together at Clarence House, it was reported last night.

The Prince’s 25-year-old girlfriend has been treating the royal home – official residence of Prince Charles and Camilla – as home for two months. Now she has given the keys to her Chelsea flat to her sister Pippa, it was claimed.

Wow! I didn't think that Catherine would practically move into Clarence House. But even though I didn't expect it, I'm not surprised.

Prince William took Catherine to Julie's Restaurant at the Portobello Hotel in the Holland Park area of Notting Hill last week, and the week before that they went ice skating together at Somerset House. I guess William and Catherine have decided to spend more quality time together this holiday season, and their urge for quality time extends into her staying over at Clarence House! :lol:

The article says Catherine has handed the keys to her apartment to her sister, that sounds like she does indeed spend a large amount of time at Clarence House. I guess it's easy for her to come and go there at her leisure since she has her own pass.
 
The Daily Express only quotes the Sun, so it's still just one story and no proof at all. Maybe we should reread the thread (threat?;)) of last
year pre-christmas, where exactly the same stories were published as a lead-up to Valentine's day. And we all know how this ended...

But - I once read an article about St. James' palace on whose premises Clarence House stands. It claimed there are tunnels connecting BP, CH and St. James' palace along the Mall with Whitehall and the atomic shelters there in case of a threat to Britain and that St. James' not only had amounts of official exits, but that it is connected since ancient times with other buildings in the quarter, so that the Royals and their court could enter and leave the palace premises without being seen by the public. I wonder if this is true or just an urban myth? Who owns the houses in the St. James' area? The duchy of Lancaster or the duke of Westminster?

I am glad to see them happy and together. I wish them both all the best. I think that they (the BRF) have learned alot from the past. I think that sophie's marriage has turned out well, because they gave them time to get to know each other and date a long time. wills and kate seem to be doing the same. thanks for all of the links to the picutes.
