Not to disagree with you as if indeed this was the case the poor victim must have been terrified.

However, the response is generated by the times in which we live and such a case may be seen "in retrospect" to have been OTT. However, is there any other supporting evidence on the above rebuttal.?

The Prince of Wales' private income is up by 4% this year (BBC News)

Official expenditure was £10,723,000
£3,484,000 was paid in tax
The PoW made 646 offical engagements, 123 overseas
The Duchess made 252 of which 69 were overseas
Total income from the Duchy of Cornwall was £17,161,000
£692,000 on official travel by air and rail
£532,000 on offical tours and military secondments
Non official expenditure of £1,694,000
124 equivilant full time staff

events today, they visited the Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters,
attended a performance by the Carmarthen and District Youth Opera,
and visited Tenby, Dyfed, June 30,2010.

House London, July 7, 2010:

Sad occasion, but a really nice idea to do something for the bereaved
and to have such a nice setting and relaxed atmosphere..
