Did she lay down the flowers? They are chatting a lot to each other, very nice. It is the hat from Order of the Garter?

Yes, I think so. Charles said that Camilla lost three uncles in the WWI. I am not sure they can find the graves of them. But it is very touching to her lay down the flowers in front of the graves.

Royals pay tribute to fallen of the Somme

For Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, it was more than a ceremonial occasion. The royal couple reflected yesterday on the losses of the First World War - including their own.

Charles praises courage amid carnage of Somme

PRINCE CHARLES yesterday decried the “unimaginable” slaughter and “unutterable hell” of the battle of the Somme as he led a commemoration in France of the bloodiest engagement of the first world war.

Wow..Camilla´s hat is wonderful..I like it soo much :)

The hat and the dress are beautiful on their own, but I don't like them together. The hat is too "heavy" for the light summer dress with sheer sleeves. It reminds me of something Queen Mary would have worn.:)

I don't. This actually must be the first hat of the Duchess I realy hate. It looked perfectly appropirate at the Order of Garter but for any other event, I really don't like it.

It looked like some of the participants were wearing some styles from the WWI period. Nice touch but it looks a bit strange today.

I loved it. Very dramatic and very glamorous. I might get one for myself just to wear when I pop down the shops. Who is it by?

A number of descendants of those who fought in WW1, dressed in period custume and did the same march to the somme that there relatives were known to have done.

camilla looks beautiful, and so so elegant and distinguished. the design of the hat is wonderful.

What was Charles looking at with those eyewear?

He's styling with those glasses lol. What on earth could he be looking at??

He views changing forms of glaciers on a computer like Camilla
