George is a cutie.
William in this picture looks more like his look-alike actor

A great choice to showcase his birthday! He has a big smile and looks quite happy in that photo with his dad.

Yes, TLLK. George is a gorgeous toddler. However, I would have really loved it if, in honour of his second birthday we could have had a couple of different photos, not ones kept over from his sister's christening. A little video of George being active and having fun with his parents would be great in future, as well.

I wasn't demanding anything, just saying it would be nice! Animation as an alternative to still photography is always fun. Estelle rolling pastry with her mother, William and Harry at the piano with their parents nearby, was very sweet and memorable footage in my opinion.

And this is likely the first year that George will figure out that birthdays are a very good thing.

Today the armed forces helped His Royal Highness Prince George celebrate his second birthday military style.

The Band of the Grenadier Guards played Happy Birthday to the little Prince during Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

The thousands of tourists that had gathered outside the Palace gates were certainly delighted to witness such a sight.

Ok. Am I the only person that wonders if anyone at The Daily Mail is awake? I don't think I have ever read a single article that didn't have typos. I am not talking about words that are spelled correctly, but misused which would be skipped over by a simple spell checker. "Riyal" is not a word. Do they double check their articles?

LONDON — Happy second birthday, Prince George!

Fans flocked to social media Wednesday to send well-wishes to their favorite toddler, born July 22, 2013. Princess Charlotte's ebay sales is outselling Prince George by 50% | Daily Mail Online
Quote:
The Mario Testino image of young Prince George released to mark his second birthday could melt a thousand hearts but is the young royal already being eclipsed by his younger sibling in the popularity stakes?

According to eBay's royal ranking list, which monitors which members of the monarchy are being searched for most on the popular retail site, items associated with Charlotte are more popular than items associated with George.

The web marketplace said that although the young prince's public appearances have seen sales of products such as tank tops, red shorts and mugs soar, he's still outsold by three-month-old Charlotte by around 50 per cent.

However, it seems that both the royal children are put into the retail shade by their ever-popular great grandmother.

Over the past three months alone, the online giant says it has seen some 200 items a day related to the Queen sold, some 80 per cent more than the rest of her family. Purchases vary from £20,000 pieces of art to relatively inexpensive items including Queen Elizabeth figurines.

The news that Princess Charlotte’s merchandise is 50% more popular than Prince George’s comes as eBay reveals that over 200 items related to the Queen are sold every day. Not to be outshone by her great-grandson, whose merchandise includes signature tank tops and mugs, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the most popular Royal on eBay – 80% more popular than the rest of her family!

The eBay royal ranking according to merchandise popularity is:

1. The Queen

2. Princess Charlotte

3. Prince George

4. Prince Harry

5. Prince Charles
I am quite surprised that the Queen, despite her nearly 90 years, tops this list. I am also surprised that neither William or Kate is higher on it.

Anmer Hall, that is a pretty big de-listed house. It was a scheduled ancient monument though, or is. It's really not too huge or anything for them, I guess. Kind of a regular person home look to it, how quaint. Then there goes his Grandfather in a regular vehicle anyone could have. Wow, what a regular person kind of get together and place. Personally I have been in a mansion that was pretty nice quality, a few of them, and I will tell you this, they are nice but they are a lot more leisure, getting around space, bathroom, closet and kitchen space than they are big bed type rooms. That house is really down to earth size. I am amazed. This is the first time I am actually seeing it though in pictures even. He isn't banking as hard as one might expect. Awww, what a cute seeming regular everyday kind of family. I am amazed. I wonder what kind of toys the tot got.

Party Prince: George celebrates second birthday with a dozen friends | Royal | News | Daily Express

That is just real precious. I do hope everyone enjoyed the birthday. I think it is just really something how down to earth Prince William is. Really. Working as a pilot, living in a home that is not really that huge, raising a family, being good to society and nice to his sibling. How often do we actually see siblings that get along? I do not see it often at all. His son has a pretty good father and so does his daughter. As far as the photo in the quote. I really do not care for Kate's image and I do not have to like her image, I think she is made out to come across as an object devoted to fashion and way too much attention is focused on how she looks. I do think she comes across real sweet in the media when she does speak, real sincere, I think she is probably real nice and cares for charity, however everyone could do a much better job in the media focusing on her role in England, what she does, what she says, not who her family is and what company she works for or what fashion piece she wore. She is completely cut out of that one photo. Her fashion is not stylish or even really in style, for most of the regular people, that's the thing and drawing so much attention to it is cruel. They have done it so much, who she is and what she does in the Royal Family is overlooked most of the time. I honestly do not know what role she plays in the Royal Family or what she does, I only know what she wore to be the focus of the media's attention. The fashion she wears is just not practical. I do not understand it. White on her beige on the baby? The baby was christened in beige? Is that common? I know it is a hand me down, something special, but is the color relevant? So because of that instead of noticing what a wonderful new impact these royal children have, what do we notice, we notice Kate's fashion is not practical for parenting, the children are dressed nice but the red and white outfit is adorable not that it was the baby's christening day. We notice William is in a suit and is a beaming parent because William's image in the media is about what he does and that he is a Royal who had a baby. Then we read and the article says it is the son's birthday. With a Christening picture? Then we scroll down and see another cute outfit we'd all put our sons in if it came with pants in winter and go visit Grandparents or go somewhere nice. I do not understand the sweater this time of year, where I am at, but the climate is different there so it suits I assume with shorts. Why go on about it? Because they are Kate's children and Kate is illustrated as nothing but fashion and made out to be a photographer because she has had some privacy issues in the media. Excuse me, perhaps someone could explain exactly why Lady Penny Brabourne was there and what she does since she escorted Phillip. It says "raucous party" in the article headline, a loud party for a toddler? So anyway the highlight of the article was about the bells being rung at the Westminster abbey and what the child will do when he gets to be old enough to head the church and armed forces. So then could someone tell me exactly where my comment belongs or where I should share this common opinion if not here? Thanks for posting the article.

I just got done griping about articles like that. lol. It is because of them we loose track of exactly what the Royals do and what actual thing is going on that they are a part of, but sometimes they are the only news we get of them. This other article from a similar type source has Christening pictures with the Birthday article, just didn't make sense to me. Yet again making Kate out to be some kind of fashion spectacle in their illustrations since the point got eaten up with the photos making the topic go everywhere. As long as the bells rang everything went well and people over in England knew it was little George's birthday. AT most that actually got mentioned.
