Prince Charles shunned his official cavalcade of cars yesterday for part of his visit to Perth - hopping instead on a bus.
After greeting a modest crowd of wellwishers in near-city Subiaco, the Prince caught the latest in environmentally-friendly public transport - a hydrogen-fuelled bus - to continue his tour. Powered by hydrogen fuel cells and emitting only water vapour, the bus ferried him to another of Perth's environmental projects, the Subiaco Sustainable Home. It boasts an ecologically sensitive design along with numerous innovative features, including solar hot water heating, energy-efficient lighting and appliances plus a grey water recycling system. Did the prince of wales attend any military parade recently? Haven seen him in uniform for quite a while. I presumed, he would not be in uniform for his wedding as well.

Well, the latest news is that the Registar General has launced an investigation into whether or not the Charles´s civil marriage to Camilla is illegal. There is a longer article about it at Times Online. The complainant is the vicar of St George´s Church.
I wish people left Charles and Camilla alone! It is just disgusting to see how people are trying to make other people´s lives miserable. |

If it is legal for anyone else, it should be legal for a prince.

Come on, gaggleofcrazypeople, are the British people required not to get divorced, not to marry a divorcee? No. This is just that stupid Marriage Act or something that expects Charles to be a super human, that´s all.

Charles has a grubby encounter down under!
03 MARCH 2005 The Prince of Wales had an encounter with some bare-chested ladies on Wednesday, before being presented with a witchetty grub, by way of a tasty snack. It was during a visit to the remote town of Alice Springs in Australia that Charles was offered the chance to try some local delicacies. He showed no hesitation in biting into a bush banana and a bush potato, but seemed rather less enthusiastic when Aboriginal ranger Doug Taylor invited him to chow down on a wriggling grub. Fans of the Reality TV show I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here may remember that both Jordan and Jennie Bond ate the larvae as part of their "bushtucker trials". For a moment it seemed Charles was about to follow suit, as he took the grub between two fingers and raised it to his mouth, but then he smiled and shook his head before placing it back down. Earlier in the day the Prince had been greeted at the airport by five traditionally dressed native Australian women. After touching down in Alice Springs, he stepped out into the 40 degree plus heat to be greeted by a group of dancers from the Papunya tribe who performed a special welcome dance. Once they had completed the performance Charles took time to thank the women, whose semi-naked bodies were covered in red ochre. The royal visitor seemed to be in good spirits throughout the day, though he confessed to feeling a little overwhelmed by the blistering sunshine. "It's like stepping into an oven," he joked. "My blood is still too thick." http://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty...rlesaustralia/ |
