Sorry but this is appalling behaviour from a man who is 50 - I hate men who go after much younger women.
Some do it because they CAN and some as a status symbol. Think The Donald and his wives.

I understand this woman is the wife of a friend, so this is a non-story.

But if Andrew were having a fling with a much younger single woman, of, say, 30, why shouldn't he? If I were 50 and single and had a handsome 30 year old man seriously interested in me, would I say "No, go away, you're too young, I only go out with men my own age!" *snort* Of course not! I might be a little surprised, mind you, but I'd manage to get over that. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah! That's better, Andrew.

Do you really think so? Just because a woman isn`t Sarah doesn`t mean she`s a good candidate for Andrew.

The first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures was much more along the line of what Iluvbertie said, possibly apart from "I hate men who go after much younger women." I wouldn`t put it that strongly, because in theory I suppose it`s possible for there to be a real partnership between people of different ages. I also think it`s completely normal for a man to be attracted to a younger woman, because let`s face it, younger women are more attractive.

But...even if that woman wasn`t married...do you think she would have any real interest in Andrew?

That`s why I think Andrew looks silly. For some reason I think older men lose their better judgment when younger women flirt with them and assume they`re doing it because they`re into them, whereas 9 times out of 10, they`re thinking more about the lifestyle an older man can provide them. Cynical compared to what Roslyn says, I know, but as a younger woman, much as I like Prince Andrew, I would not be into him "that way"--especially after seeing the shirtless pictures (sorry Andrew!)

As far I can see, here is a mere picture of Prince Andrew having a bit of fun in the sun and I
can´t see any need for him to sit on the deck looking glum. Besides one newspaper said that the woman in the picture is the wife of his host, and it is the duty of a hostess to make sure her guests are enjoying themselves and I should think Prince Andrew is in need of a bit of enjoyment and cheering up, after these last awful months.
I must say I am glad to see Prince Andrew having fun and as far as the article and pictures go he doesn´t seem to be doing anything wrong or illegal!
If it were a younger single girl the papers and TRF would be having a wonderful time designing wedding dresses etc.
Let Andrew have some fun on holiday, I think he deserves it for all the kindness he has shown his ex wife. He might also be encouraged to get a personal trainer for himself instead of probably having to pay for one for his ex wife.
Does it actually say that this lady is much younger than Prince Andrew or is that just supposition, she might be a woman who takes care of her appearance and looks much younger than she is.

Prince Andrew's Home Broken Into

:ohmy:While Prince Andrew was on a cruise celebrating his birthday as well as the birthday of his older sister, Princess Anne, some burglars had other ideas. Four intruders broke into his property at Windsor Great Park, with unknown purpose. Because the Prince and his two daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were away, so were the police protection officers. Also living at the property, and not home at the time, was the Prince’s ex-wife, the Duchess of York. The four masked intruders were dressed in black from head-to-toe, and at about 5am they broke in and drove around the grounds for a few minutes. After realizing that they had been caught on camera, they left. It is believed that nothing was stolen, although no motive was given. Thames Valley Police have arrested a suspect linked to the break-in and have stated they are investigating how the intruders got onto the property, because the gates remained in tact.

Smiling Prince Andrew enjoys lunch on holiday with mystery friend | Mail Online

Like most holidaymakers Prince Andrew was probably enjoying the sunshine too much this week to worry about how much he was spending.

When he returns to work, however, his latest expenses may give him pause for thought.

Figures published yesterday reveal the eye-watering cost to the taxpayer of his hotels, food and entertainment abroad in his role as the UK’s ambassador for trade.

The pictures don't really look to me as if there was something 'serious' going on. They might just be friends and I always thought that Andrew is rather a 'flirty' type. ;)

I agree, Dierna23.

They are photos of a man on holiday having fun with a young woman in a casual setting.

Recently, I was on a trip with a few friends and family and we have many similar photos to those of Andrew and 'companion'. None of us were involved in anything other than a determination to enjoy ourselves.

It's so easy to read all sorts of stories into such photographs which is why the press bothers to take them. The insinuations are never-ending, but I suppose that they believe that any single royal is fair game.

The DMs article today says that the information they had in their earlier article that she is married is wrong and that in fact she is single and only 25 (3 years older than Beatrice) and that she and Andrew left the area together.

Of course Andrew's spokespeople say there is no romance.

At the bottom of the article there is a second section saying that Andrew won't be joining Sarah and the girls in Spain due to being 'mortified' about her behaviour.

I hope Andrew is having a great time! There is nothing like a vacation flirt that is young and gorgeous. I am sure she will not be any less taken care off than by a younger person.

Glad he's having a good time and not joining Sarah in Spain.

Hmmm. So she's single and only 25. Seems Randy Andy hasn't lost his touch. Good luck to him!

"Randy Andy" since when has he had that name?
Prince Albert is engaged to marry a woman who is twenty years younger than him.

'Randy Andy' was his nickname in the early 80s when he dated a number of young ladies. It stopped being used when he walked down the aisle with a certain red-head in 1986.

Seriously? Charles dated more girls than Andrew, I think. But then again Randy Charles doesn't fit as good as Randy Andy.

Charles didn't hang out on a balcony dishabille with Koo Stark. . . :whistling:

And Charles didn't marry someone who liked her toes sucked in public, but he still dated more girls. ;)

Eh, lay off Koo Stark! She may not have filled the criteria of a royal bride in the 1980s but she proved to have that most valuable of personal qualities - absolute discretion. Although reportedly offered hundreds of thousands of pounds by the London tabloids for the 'inside story' of her romance with Prince Andrew, she never uttered a word of it in public. Not a word, even when she was later in financial difficulty and had two mastectomies following cancer treatment. Despite her so-called "soft-porn" film career [I think that means she appeared in one film nude, but then, it was a shower scene], Koo Stark has amply demonstrated her loyalty and class.

I don't know much about Koo Stark, just looked her up, and she looks very pretty.
Is there a thread about Andrew's exes?
She looks/sounds like a wonderful woman.

Koo Stark from all I have heard was a thoroughly nice girl and if it hadn´t been for a rather silly scandal she would have probably been the Duchess of York. I read a biography and in it Koo was spoken of, very well I must say, and something that caught my eyes was a sentence that said more or less this "even Princess Anne who is not easily pleased said she was the nicest girl she had ever met" now that is a compliment and a half.
Actually she didn´t do much more than Kate did showing underwear at a fashion show, it was a film I believe but there wasn´t any more on show than Kate had, so it was just bad luck
To tell you the truth I never heard of any of Charles´s girlfriends except before his marriage when a girl was seen to stay at Balmoral and gossip ran rife about a royal wedding etc etc as everyone on TRF is very familiar with.

Oh I liked Koo. It has been said so did HM. I was just referring to the Randy Andy scandal. . . basically, that shot on the balacony was the shot that created the scandal. . ..

Yes in retrospect who knew that Koo was a bargain?!

You gotta remember it was the early 80's...so even the shower scene was scandalous.

But yes, Koo is an excellent example of inappropriate person (at least on canvas) who turns out to be a nice girl. She has never said a negative word about Andrew and as Warren mentioned when she was down on her duckets she never sold him out. I believe they are still friends. It was a sad turn of events to hear about her breast cancer, and I am glad she is still among the living. So many women (and men) die of the disease.

Given that Koo was in financial difficulty, it would have quite tempting to tell her story to get out of financial debt. The fact that she didn't says a lot about her character. This is someone who is loyal and trustworthy.

Exactly! Unlike an exwife who will attempt to sell access to him.

What a nice and worthy woman. If only he could date someone like that. A beautiful woman, with great character and a good moral center. Who can assist him in his duties.

Sorry...off topic.

I know this is a bit off topic but I read somewhere where they did a family tree and found out that Koo was related to Marsha Washington and some other prominent Americans. I'm just curious if this was true. Does she have any royal blood in her ancestry? Does anyone know? Just curious.

From The Article

When Prince Andrew was pictured on a yacht getting touchy-feely with a woman half his age, the denials came thick and fast.
They're just friends, said a source, and anyway, she's married.
But now it turns out 25-year-old Alexandra Escat is in fact single - and the pair have since been seen jetting off together.

The Duke of York, 50, was seen engrossed in a playful conversation with the Filipino model on a luxury yacht last week.

Any reports on Andrew's whereabouts since Sardinia?
Sky.com reported he is back in Scotland with the girls, Richard Palmer, Daily Express (VIA Twitter) understands that he is in Spain?
