There is a definition of a papparazzo and no photographic reporter sent to take photos at an event would take kindly to being called this.
Anyone going to a big event expects photographers to be present and from what I have witnessed first hand this is to many so called celebrities (do not include royalty) a time to push to the front and pose.
I'm sorry but you can't tell me my opinion is wrong, because no ones opinion is wrong. That is why it is an opinion.
I don't care what the papparazzi think of what I call them.

I am not talking about paparazzi, I am talking about genuine photographers on a mission sent by their employer. I understand that you don´t care for anyone disagreeing with your opinion, that is called being opinionated and you have every right to be as opinionated as you like.

Prince Andrew attended the first charitable reception of Samantha Cameron,
wife of Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron, at the Prime Minister's official
residence at Downing Street in central London July 7, 2010.

Why not?
He is an ex-servicemen himself so would have an affinity with these men. He has seen active service so again would have an affinity. He saw men get wounded and even some die. This is a natural place for him to be.

You can see her belly button--due to the advanced state of her pregnancy-- has officially become an "outtie".

Shame the royal presence did nothing for our Jenson.

Why does he always dress in a suit? Why not a polo shirt & trousers?

If it was an official visit, not a drop in, then that's what he should wear.

I prefer seeing him like this during such an event and I guess it
has been an official visit as he often is involved in events related
to the Formula One and racing (although it's not been listed as such
at the court circular).

Here's another gallery of nice pics of Andrew today:

Maybe he is simply more comfortable in a suit. I know a number of men, particularly ex-military men, who don't feel dressed unless they are in a suit, or at least a shirt with a tie.

My husband is never without his sportscoat and always wears long pants. The most casual he gets is a polo-shirt or coloured t-shirt and trousers; and that's when he's in the house. I think that there are some men who just don't like to dress down much.

It still works for me, Russo, but gettyimages links sometimes need a
browser refreshment , so you could try that out as well!

Prince Andrew is at this Harry`s Bar quite a bit lately. Since he doesn`t drink, he must be socializing...I wonder with whom?
