The photo official will be the unique?

They said that they would only release a small amount of photos, so I don't think we're going to get many more pictures of the christening.

We've only seen one picture, really. It's the same picture but looks like two because the one of Edward, Sophie and Louise is blown up from the one with the grandparents and the godparents.

I expect that we'll see at least 2 or 3 more: one of Edward, Sophie and Louise, one of the Wessex's with the Queen and Prince Phillip and one of just Louise.

Alexandria, the photo released today is the pool photo - all the news orgs were able to get it ... Lord Lichfield probably took a series of photos, several presumably for the family (and not released), but a few other photos will probably be offered through Camera Press (at high prices) to newspapers and magazines, etc.

I didn't say anything about it being a pool photo or not. I simply stated that we (the general public) will see maybe two or three more photos of the christening. And since I don't think many members will actually be purchasing the photos directly from photo agencies/sources themselves, and since the majority of the content here is from other media sources and photo agencies, the two or three additional photos we see would be from such sources.

I was not talking about members, but about the media, having worked in the media for more tha 20 years. It is customary for those in the pool to receive the first photo, but have to pay for others. LTR is not of course a member of the pool :)

Since the birth of their daughter, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie have tried to be like any other new parents. And while the setting and company may have been a bit more rarified than usual, the pride and joy in the faces of the couple at the baptism of Lady Louise reflected those of all new mums and dads.

In a break with tradition, the newest member of the royal family was christened in the private chapel at Windsor Castle, rather than Buckingham Palace where most royal babies are baptised.

In the official photos released to celebrate the occasion, Sophie, dressed in an elegant chiffon gown in cream silk, cuddles her daughter on her lap, while Edward tenderly rests his hand on Louise's chubby arm. A happy smile on her face, the Queen, who is known to be fond of Sophie, flanks the couple along with the Duke of Edinburgh, while Sophie's parents Mary and Chris Rhys-Jones are seated on the pair's right.

Behind them in the shots taken by society photographer Patrick Litchfield, are the infant's new godparents. These are headed by Francesca Schwarzenbach, a tycoon’s wife and friend of Edward and Sophie, and include godfathers Rupert Elliot, a friend of Edward's from his Cambridge University days, and Lord Ivar Mountbatten, the Earl's cousin. Her other two godmothers are Lady Alexandra Etherington, another of Edward's cousins, and Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon's daughter Lady Sarah Chatto.

As all those around her smile into the camera, little Louise looks on solemnly, her gaze already reflecting an eye condition with which she has been diagnosed. Last week it emerged that the six-month-old, who was born four weeks prematurely and delivered by Caesarean section, will need an operation to try and correct her exotropia. The rare condition leads to one eye deviating from its normal position and could result in blindness. Louise now faces a series of tests before specialists can operate.

Actually royal babies have been baptised in different places, including Sandringam church, and in unnamed private chapels in the country during the second world war.

Yes, she sure is.. I just wish a close-up would be published soon. Perhaps HELLO magazine will provide us with some more pics.

Sophie is godmother to Lord Ivar Mountbatten's daughter Alexandra (b. 1998) and Edward is godfather to his daughter Ella, born in 1996.

[B][SIZE=7][COLOR=red] can someone post more pictures of lady louise christening .. there is very little in print about this and i dont see to much on the message board either. Also .. the astrological chart is confusing.. can someone break it down .. sun/ moon / ascending and a brief indication as to what is the overall picture of the childs natal chart. You see violence in the chart? I understand the baby has to have an eye operation? please post pictures.. thanks .. I also could not find anything in Corbis. QUEEN OF PORTUGAL

There are no more pictures to post as Louise was given a private baptism. Only the one picture or so was released to the press, and both were posted here by Claire and Martine.

probably a nanny watches louise, i think the reason why other babys are at the wedding (ingrid, amalia and claus casimir) is because their mothers are still breastfeeding them
