I just read Prince Edward's wiki page which says, though he didn't get the title of Duke on his wedding, he'll inherit his father's title the Duke of Edinburg after Prince Philip.

I just read Prince Edward's wiki page which says, though he didn't get the title of Duke on his wedding, he'll inherit his father's title the Duke of Edinburg after Prince Philip.

Thats clearly incorrect. He cannot get it till both have parents have passed away, and Charles (as monarch) creates Edward as the DoE.

It's strange that Sophie is the one to speak with President Higgins and Edward is the one to speak with Sabina while they were paired up. And walking. Usually it's the Royal/male member who speak to the politican and their spouse who partner up with the politician's wife.
