My midwifery colleague works at the SECAMB building (there’s a midwife advice like number that is a triage based system) where Sophie visited today and she said she was really lovely and hugely interested in the midwifery aspect, having utilised the 999 services for a midwifery related emergency herself.

I’ve seen a small clip of Sophie’s speech and she thanks the 999 staff and mentions her own gratitude having been a patient herself once. Thought that was a nice tough.

:previous: Sophie is such a hard worker and her personality seems to be very empathetic which comes across when she makes a speech. It is a shame the national media don't cover her unless the young royals are not around. She and Anne are the unsung heroes of the BRF grafting away week after week and they just keep being overlooked.

I think they might like it that way. Just going about their work without all the fuss

Yesterday, May 9, the Countess of Wessex as Ambassador for the Women of the Future Programme attended the 19th Asian Women of Achievement Awards Dinner in London.
She joked: "Before anyone asks me, yes I’m looking forward to the wedding, yes I have my outfit and no, I haven’t met Prince Louis...yet!"
