Information from The Royal Family website about Sophie's challenge:

DoE Challenge

Video

Fair play to Sophie for undertaking this challenge! I'm very excited for her and hope she finishes. I look forward to seeing Louise and James (and Edward of course) cheering her home! :D

I can't imagine how hard the cycle will be. I cycled from London to Brighton where was a mere 54 miles and I found that hard!

The Countess of Wessex has recalled the moment her daughter Louise realised that her grandmother is the Queen. The Countess was giving an interview with the BBC's Louise Minchin, when she was asked by the presenter if her children are starting to acknowledge that their granny is a highly important public figure.

"It happened a little while ago," said Sophie laughing. "Well for Louise, actually, it was much more of a shock to the system. It was only when she was coming home from school and saying, 'Mummy, people keep on telling me that grandma is the queen.'

"And I asked her, 'Yes, how does that make you feel? And she said, 'I don't understand.'"

Busy June for the Wessex's and it was so nice to see James and Louise listed in the court circular.

I look forward to their trip to Canada as they seem to really enjoy Canada and the people likewise enjoy Edward and Sophie.

It wouldn't surprise me if Edward has visited Canada more times than his own mother.

Where can I read the court circular? I can't find it anymore since the Royal Family website changed.

Both Andrew and Edward are regular visitors, I think Andrew more, to Canada. Its not as publicized as a royal tour, but its nice to see them both come. Andrew doesn't tend to come this far west though as he is usually in Canada for military related events and visits out East.

I wish I still lived in Regina. It would be great to see Edward at the theater's anniversary. I grew up going to see plays and such there (lived there for 6 plus years in elementary/high school).

If you type court circular into the site's search engine it will bring it up for you.

It only gets updated a couple of times a week though.
