Will Louise start high school or as it sometime call in the UK college this year?

She should have already started. She turned 11 last November and our high school runs from 11-16. College/Sixth Form is 16-18.

I'm unaware of what school she's currently at but she may have remained their if they have secondary education facilities.

Louise turned 12 last November.

The school Louise and her brother currently attend (St George's in the grounds of Windsor Castle) goes up until 13 years old so I think she has the rest of this school year and then one more. After that she will move schools and most likely will go to Marlborough College if Edward and Sophie wish to send her to boarding school. Eugenie attended St George's and then went to Marlborough College afterwards as well.

Those are vey lovely and heartwarming pictures! Sophie looks great too!

She really is charming and seems to love a biccie

The 15th birthday of the charity Shooting Star Chase was marked with a celebration at Christopher's Children's Hospice in Guildford yesterday, February 9. The Countess of Wessex (as Patron) showed her baking skills :)

No, neither did I, and it might have been a better idea to have worn faux fur slippers or flat heeled white boots on that icy carpet. Being escorted by two people holding one's arm when photographers are around at a party is not a good look, as members of the public might come to the wrong conclusion that you have been at the drinky-winks too many times! (I'm not hinting that Sophie was.)

^^^I agree Curryong. Those shoes look like they're going to cause a nasty fall and Sophie's already dealt with broken ribs before!

:previous: I'm annoyed that the Daily Mail made the article about the cost of the plane. Perhaps everyone chipped in. Perhaps the Wessexes paid for it from private funds. I doubt very much it was paid for by the tax-payer--so who cares, really? Oh yes, the Daily Mail, which also recently pubished those unflattering photos of Sophie in angel get-up.:bang:

I suspect that either they have a rich friend or the group split the cost between them ( a plane like this typically seats 11-18 so if the four Wessex's paid for only their share its not going to be THAT much for royals)

I think it's likely to have been that way. The Earl and Countess of Derby also seemed to be part of the group so they probably pitched in a bit. They seem to be good friends of Edward and Sophie as they are seem with them a lot.

I am sure they split the costs of they know the owner of the plane who lent it to them. Edward and Sophie borrowed a friends yacht a couple of years ago to go to Ibiza so they know people with plenty of money.

They of course have plenty of money themselves - Edward's ski jacket costs about £500! They may have paid for the jet themselves.

Prince Edward and wife Sophie jet off to St Moritz for a skiing holiday | Daily Mail Online

The article has been changed now, its headline reads

Those Royals sure know how to holiday! Edward and Sophie take a £46m private jet to join friends on a skiing trip in glitzy St Moritz (but it’s OK, they paid for it themselves)

And its made a bit clearer, though still poorly written, that the money came from private funds. Doesn't say whether or not the Wessex's paid for all of the costs or not or maybe still got a free flight of a friend but nice to see BP obviously not letting the DM get away with suggesting public funds might have been used.

The holiday was not a royal engagement, and the palace confirmed that the hour-and-forty-five-minute private jet journey was not covered directly by the taxpayer.

A flight on the private jet, believed to be worth around £48million ($65million), would have cost up to £7,000 an hour ($10,000), making the journey worth more than £20,000

Instead, the couple paid for the classy break with personal finances from a variety of sources including the Sovereign Grant, given to the Queen from the Treasury to fund her household.
I hope the DM is confused because the Sovereign Grant isn't to be used for this purpose at all

Those are really wonderful pictures; so colorful, and the Wessexes really seem pleasant!

I think Sophie has looked stunning during this tour .. they both appear to have enjoyed themselves

Globe Theatre’s 50th anniversary gala in the Queen City will be attended by a royal couple. Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and his wife Sophie Rys-Jones will be attending the June 22 event at the Conexus Arts Centre. It will be the first time the Countess of Wessex has visited Saskatchewan and attended a Globe event.

Edaward and Sophie are coming over and this is the first I've heard about it? I shoudn't be surprised by that, but I am. I'm assuming there's more to the visit than just this too. Not that it'll be easy to find....:(

:previous: Louise is indeed very tall. She's pretty much her mum's height.
