The way Sophie's looking these days, it's no surprise that the guys are checking her out even though they're the younger generation!

Sophie's definitely a very attractive woman, and it's nice to see that some younger gentlemen prefer someone that looks classy, mature and sophisticated. Well done, Your Highness :D.

it is still great to see them socialise.

If and when Charlene becomes pregnant and has children I could see someone like Sophie being a great boon to have as a friend. Besides all the womanly things one would want to share and discuss with another woman who had the same experience in a royal sense, there would be the issues of privacy and the children's privacy in the face of an invasive press. That both women married into royalty must make for an immediate sympatico - and Sophie is clearly adept with an understanding of PR because of her background. I think its a very fortuitous friendship.

Yesterday, May 28, the Earl of Wessex was in Nottingham. He visited the London Regiment before deploying on
operation at the Reserves Training and Mobilisation Centre Chetwyn Barracks, he visited Blue Bell Hill Primary
School and joined the children's celebrations for the Diamond Jubilee. Later he opened the new Joint Services
Facility at St. Ann's Valley Centre and visited Trebeck Hall and viewed the exhibition "Monarchy - Icons and
Imagery of Royalty".

Pic 1 is great! :)

I love the third image of him talking to the little girl. How adorable. Great coverage of Edward's trip. He must have been so hot in his suit though.

Can't help but notice he isn't wearing his wedding rings. Odd.

That's my favorite image as well. The little girl is loving every minute of it, I'm thinking.

Even better, I love the expression on her face!:)

I do too. She's so excited about showing him her stuffed animal :D. Too precious.

Thank you so much for the pictures, MagMil! :flowers:

Wonderful to see Edward and Sophie together.
Sophie looks lovely, although I wish she wore something with a little colour in it.

Thanks for the links, Mag. Nice to see Edward and Sophie out and about. I really love that dress, it is such a nice colour.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Tunbridge Wells today.

Tunbridge Wells Jubilee Visit - short video.

A right royal town - article with one image.

Hopefully more images will be made available as there seemed to be a lot of photographers. Shame the video is so short, but it was lovely to see a video. I liked Edward's gesture to help Sophie up the stairs. Very sweet. The video is from ITV, so it made only be available in the UK. Sorry non-Uk residents.

Love Edward engaging the children like that! Lovely gesture to offer his arm to Sophie as well! After all these years of marriage it appears he still thinks of the little things! Lucky Sophie!

And lucky Edward!:) Sophie is a wonderful mother and has really proven herself to be a valuable asset to the Royal Family.

what stunning images; thank you Molly2101

Very true! :)

They really looked like they were having fun.
I'm glad, I really thought Edward was looking too pensive all too often these past few days.

BTW, he's still not wearing neither his wedding nor his signet ring. It's been this way for several weeks now.
I hope they didn't get stolen and are now being sold on ebay....:whistling:

Hello all,
I am new to the world of royalty and these forums and it has been fun learning!
so far this is my fav of the children of the queen, but i wonder why they would come and go in different cars? i am sure like so many others we worry because of previous marrriages they are ok, but i was wondering if maybe he can't ride in the same car as his children/

Does anyone have pictures of Prince Christoph os Hesse born 1964?

I assume you mean when visiting The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday? If you look at the videos you see Edward driving the Land Rover (which is presumably the family car) and Sophie, James and Louise travelling with a driver and an assistant in a jaguar. They had to travel with security so Edward drove his car, and Sophie and the children went in another car.

I love the 3rd image iceflower. I wondered about Edward's wedding rings, but perhapa he just wanted them off. Sophie still wears hers. I imagine we are reading too much into it.

They travelled in seperate cars as the nanny was in Sophie's car. I love their cars, soooooo nice. I did wonder about the cars but then saw their nanny.
