Wouldn't it be lovely if this young lady was a flowergirl at her cousin, Peter Phillips' wedding.Stellad

I found an interesting article in the Daily Mail. A few years back Prince Charles attempted to lure Edward and Sophie's private secretary and enquerry to his service. Actually it was later reveled that they were for Camilla and William and Harry. I wondered why Charles would want to do that as he has access to more expertise then Edward would.
And then I read this in the Daily Mail. Prince Edward and Sophie's equerry is not other then Captain the Viscount Fitz-Harris - the 37-year-old heir to the Earldom of Malmesbury.
No wonder Charles wanted him on his staff.

In this week's Hello! magazine, it says that Lady Louise has started pre-school near Bagshot Park.

I understand that she only doing three days or something. Can you do that, or is that a play group?

Although I said pre-school, I can imagine it being more of a nursery -a place that she will be able to socialise with other children of a similar age a couple of days a week.

I like the way they seem to have chosen a nursery close to their home.:)

I like the way the press have left them alone.
I think there has been a arguement with the press about pics of Louise expecially. What are the chances that they had their camera pointed at the nursery window during the procession to parliament by accident :)
It had to come through as people will be expecting Louise to go visit her new baby brother, appear in pics with the family and at the christining. So an arangement with the press was needed.
Sounds odd, but I think that the press are going to have to be careful about photos of her, apparently a poll amoung the British think that the majority of press coverage on Edward and Sophie amounts to bullying. If it looks like they are targetting a four year old with a disablity they will not be doing themselves any favours.

Not a very nice thing to do to your brother. One would think that Charles has more than a few people to choose from without luring staff from his siblings.

The photo of Louise is nice. I think there's a law in effect protecting the privacy of minors that wasn't there when her cousins were children. The press has also got to be mindful of what happened to Princess Diana. That said, Edward might be better off if he released a high quality picture or two a year of his children, at pre-arranged times. The paparazzi will be more likely to leave them alone as they get older. I've also wondered on occasion if they might be keeping Louise under wraps because she was premature, might be disabled, etc. Her eyes still look slightly crossed. Visual impairment wouldn't be surprising in a preemie. She does look very much like the Queen did as a small child. It's also cute that she seems to be dragging along a stuffed animal in just about every picture I've seen of her.

Sophie wears her heart on her head. :)

Cute sentiment that Sophie wore her wedding jewellery to the anniversary, the Queen and the Queen Mother wore their wedding jewellery to her wedding.
I utterly applauded her hat, it shows her emotions early.

i loved it, too.
it fits so very well for this occasion =)

And if you look closely, you'll see that it's always a little zebra. In the last photo, it looks worse for the wear...just as it should. :flowers:

I hope we will see lady Louise for the walk to the church this year. She is now old enough to do that walk.

I hope Louise goes this year. Her and Margarita would be so cute together. Two blondes on a mission! As for the X Mas card I don't understand why they put the guy in the picture, instead of their family. Oh well.

I think she should be included in the Christmas walk, I understand trying to give her a normal life, but this is a family tradition and she should be a part of the family.
Did Edward hate his royal life that much??? I really don't know that much about him and his growing up years since he was so far behind Prince Charles and Anne.
I think the British royal family has had some weird cards this year. Did Anne or Andrew even have one?

I doubt Louise will walk with Edward , if she does attend. She will drive with the Queen and Sophie (if she attends)

i dout that louise will attend if sophie, edward,or little james dont attend..then again i was surprised when sophie attended the church service soon after louise was born..i really hope we see them though..she will be so adorable!

What is the significance of the Captain/Viscount? Why would Charles want him?

Captain Fitz- Harris is the heir to the Earldom of Malmesbury. I doubt it is his expertise as this is his first time enquerring in the army. I just think that Charles would rather have an earl working for Camilla, William and Harry that have one working for Edward. I suppose it has to do with their rank.

Are we certain that Edward and Sophie managed to go to Norfolk? The weather is really bad and they were apparently going to go by helicopter.

its about time louise went to church publicly at christmas she is 4 and surely she is able to behave for the duration of the church service

Yes, Edward was the only one in his little family to attend church at Sandringham, but Sophie and the baby was supposed to arrive at Sandringham House yesterday.

I read that Sophie and the babies were also at Sandringham but they did not attend the church service, thus there are no photos of them. I wonder when little Louise will start attending the services. I remember the York girls were around 5 when they were photographed w the rest of the family and little Margarita Linley has been going for a couple of years now.
