Thank you so much to all the articles and video of today. It is lovely to see Sophie moved by the proceedings and so lovely to see her embrace the elderly man. What a lovely lady! The picture of her bending down and holding her arms to the little girl with the blue school uniform on and curly hair is lovely!

On a side note, not a fan of the dress at all! I love her shoes though. :D

Sophie and Edwards tireless work is recognised by the people it helps, and that's better than any press story IMO.

Aren't British royals glorified ribbons cutters? (your words) How can they work tirelessly cutting ribbons?

They cut ribbons all the time? Making it a tireless contribution to ribbon cutting. :) thanks for reminding me!

Shame they receive so little publicity in the British press, or maybe they like it that way. Fly under the radar.
I feel the same way, there is ususally a coverage in local press, and thanks god for FB and twitter. But other than that, not too much...
And I will keep saying it's a shame, as they both do (Sophie and Edward) amazing job.

Very touching video from today:

Very very moving video. This old man's words about Sophie giving them back their dignity almost made me cry.

And completely agree with you Lumutqueen on this:

It starts tomorrow and finishes on Sunday. I am sure if the Wessex's are going to go it will be Saturday or Sunday as the children are at school during the week. I hope we see them altogether again as it's always lovely to see this lovely family out. I loved the images last year of James sitting in front of Sophie watching the Pony Club Games and he was obviously a bit bored so he moved to his uncle David and wrapped his tie around his face. James is adorable!

On Royal Gov, some time ago in future engagements Countess were going to that show on the 10th but yesterday I noticed it is no longer on itinerary, but instead they put for tomorrow another engagement, that wasn't before.

There are two from first part of that day, one with kids and that one:

But they do have flickr account and I see they usually add more pics there, so I really hope.
Here is their gallery from Sophie visit in 2011, and there are galleries with Edward and other royals:

I do agree with that but if there is no press at all, then royals will loose their main purpose, it is important to highlight their work especially when they are working for charities, organisations and people, like it was today.
If not the press and informations how those organisations would get any money? I'm not saying press is the only thing they need, not at all, but it is important part of the work they do.

huge gallery from tree planting, but I don't know who cropped those pictures so much, they lost a lot on quality.

Forgot to add, there won't be more pictures from HMS Daring, as the man who wrote article responded they only got one pic, as Royal Navy photographer was absent on that day, he was equally dissapointed as me...

I really love the photos of sophie with the baby!!! I mis so much that they neer published official photos of the birth of james.

Awww the image of the little girl running out in front of Edward and then he holds his arm out to stop her falling down the step. Cute. It's also nice to see Sarah, Sophie's Lady-in-Waiting, with Edward.

Hospital photos- Boy, can we just go awww now? Too sweet! Love the photo of the Countess and little Jodie- the look on her face- like ''Wow a real Princess" And talking about teddy bears with Ffion- very serious business! Sophie, if I am ever in the hospital again, please come visit me!

Pictures from Staffordshire County Council HQ,
again tiny. I don't understand why they insist on cropping such great pics to such small resolution. They loose a lot...
