(It's probably safe to say that if Prince Edward Ignored Sophie in addition to flaunting his mistress under her nose, that Sophie would find love and comfort with another man too.
Maybe it would be more accurate to say that Prince Charles and Fergie behaved like uncivilized animals, while Prince Edward and Sophie are able to show mutual respect towards each other.
There is no reason to make Diana's behavior equivalent to that of Fergie's infidelity.)
end quote

In my opinion an infidelity is an infidelity. It does not matter who commits it. Diana commited adultry and therefore by your own definition she behaved like an uncivilized animal.

As regards to Sophie, the Queen probably forgave her whatever sins she had committed once she sold her business interests and became a hundred percent involved in royal duties. The fact that Sophie remains loyal to her husband and is expecting a child in December probably also help to cement a good relationship. But from what I gather, the couple is closer to Philip than the Queen.
As far as I'm concerned, Sophie appears much happier these days than in the early days of her marriage.

All infidelities are not the same by my definition. IF the marriage was a sham to begin with because of Charles's duplicity, and IF he was the first to leave the marital bed for another woman, THEN there's not a lot left to be faithful for.

So what did Diana have to show fidelity to -- a mockery of a marriage, or that she was hired as a breeder with good cheekbones?

Before stating that all infidelities are the same, one has to first establish to what one is showing fidelity. If it is nothing more than a mirage, then the infidelity is little more than a mirage too. :innocent:

Sophie Has Her Hands Full at Charity Event
5 SEPTEMBER 2003
Sophie Wessex got friendly with a cuddly toy during a visit to Buxted Park in East Sussex on Friday. The Countess, who is expecting her first child in early December, had come along to offer her support to a charity clay pigeon shoot.

The annual event, organised by the Lord's Taverners organisation, raises money for disadvantaged children. It aims to provide youngsters, especially those with physical disabilities, an opportunity to participate in sport.

Needless to say, Sophie didn't participate in any of the actual shooting, but her presence helped the charity raise thousands of pounds.

It's been a busy few days for the 37-year-old, as she had another royal engagement in Scotland the day before. She was accompanied by her husband, Prince Edward, as she visited His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen.

But despite her hectic schedule, Sophie looked just as relaxed and radiant as she accepted a bouquet of flowers from five-year-old Catherine Scott. And theatre manager Duncan Hendry seemed impressed with Edward's understanding of all things theatrical. "He's obviously very knowledgeable and interested in theatres and he was very keen to look at the back of the stage and explore there," revealed Duncan afterwards.

wierd question maybe, but why are the pool balls only 2 colors? Whenever I've played it here, the balls are different colors and have numbers on them. Is the game played differently in Europe then the United States?

More than one million youngsters throughout the UK - about one in 10 - suffer the hidden disability of speech and language difficulties.

Sophie hardly looks pregnant in this outfit! I would like to borrow this outfit for those days when I am feeling bloated! :p

1.Now what would they do in such a large house? Do you suppose they play hide and seek, or slide down the bannisters? This house at Bagshot Park was also given to a 3rd son many years ago -- Prince Arthur by Queen Victoria. http://www.freemantle.dabsol.co.uk/bp/duke.htm

2-5.This is quite a contrast to Prince Edward's House. One would think the queen would want something better for her grand daughters?

Fergie's rundown home

By PAUL THOMPSON
Royal Correspondent

THIS is Fergie’s rambling new country home — which has set her back at least £1million.

The Duchess of York is said to have fallen in love with the 300-year-old house surrounded by four acres of land.

But before she can move in to Wareham House in Brook, Surrey, she will have to lavish £100,000 more on the property to do it up.

The mansion is in poor shape inside and needs a complete makeover before it is fit to be a royal home.

Apparently, Sarah was charged huge rent when she stayed with Andrew at their house. So much for chivalry. I wonder if she was actually supporting his lifestyle with topless beauties? She'll be better off having her own place than paying rent to her ex-husband.

Six months pregnant Sophie, was attending the launch of the Meningitis Trust's Support for Life Appeal, in central London. Hi there, does anyone know what the title of the newborn baby will be? Prince(ss) of Wessex???

Hi Danjel,

I understand that a boy will have the title 'Viscount' - as in David, Viscount Linley , and a girl the title 'Lady' as in Lady Rose Windsor.

Hi Danjel,

I understand that a boy will have the title 'Viscount' - as in David, Viscount Linley , and a girl the title 'Lady' as in Lady Rose Windsor.
This will only be true IF HM The Queen issues Letters Patent depriving the child of his/her right to the style, dignity and title of HRH Prince/Princess of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. As a male-line [legitimate] grandchild of HM The Queen, any such child is accorded these styles and titles by right of birth.
Anyways, the title of Viscount or Lady would only be courtesy titles for thier child. The style, dignity and title of "HRH Prince/ Princess" would actually be said child's "legitimate" titles.
Of course, HM could issue the Letters Patent any time and give them any title she wanted the child to have. That is her perogitive.

Very nice suit on the Countess of Wessex. She has had a very nice maternity wardrobe even though some of the colours have been quite dark.
