HRH looks very elegant and beautiful in that robe. with all the years of hard work and devotion, she deserves this honour. congratulations!
Well it is not exactly a reward for hard work. Sophie is the patron/president? of St. John's Ambulances - the sister organisation. It is traditional for the the patron to be a knight or dame of the other organisation.
The Countess is an exceptionally beautiful woman, and has turned out to be a real credit to the Royal family. How exciting it must be (at least for a history buff such as myself) to be a part of such ancient and historical orders as the Hospitallers - never mind that bit about the Crusades.

I read that Sophie of Wessex is expecting her second child. Does anyone know the due date?
It's interesting that you can't really see the baby bump yet.

In August there have been rumours that The Countess was pregnant with her second child, timoka, because that time The Countess was on the holiday and there was a bump in her belly when she was in simsuit but actually until now, there has been no news of that, i think the newspaper at that time just thought cause of her belly seemed like a bump but actually the Countess is not pregnant at the moment.:(
