Ugh, I know. William is asked by a good friend to be an usher at his wedding and he's just supposed to refuse? Mark and Laura attended William and Kate's wedding, why should they not do likewise?

Everyone looks great. Laura Bechtolsheimer is a very pretty girl. Seems like a lovely location for a winter wedding.

Very nice of Harry looking after his sister in-law on the slippery walkway. I see William was slipping on the way down.

Good to see the parents to be. Beaming.

People tend to forget that HM is the souverain they all owe allegience, blood-related or not. Of course they would be there if she thought they should be at her side.

One of Kate's best looks - I doesn't look like a cream coat - it looks like a very pale blush.

Her face is starting to change slightly - is her nose spreading a bit from one photo? Old wives' tales suggest a baby girl.

I am so not trying to criticize or be rude, but I think it's pretty obvious that its cream...

The only way, for me, that it POSSIBLY looks blush is when she's in the shade.

There's no way I'm going to argue over the exact color of this lovely coat.

The clothes are being discussed on the Duchess of Cambridge Maternity Clothes thread.

Lol. No argument necessary. Just differences in opinions and observations.

Didn't someone post an article about the Cambridgeshire possibly visiting Ireland? What do you guys think? I don't know if this is the appropriate thread. I'll try to find the post.

I couldn't find the post, but I think this is the article the poster was referring to. I can't remember if its already been talked about in current events so I'm sorry if its a repeat, but I wanted to know what your opinions were. I hope this is the right thread.

It's really rude to not show up at a wedding, barring illness or someone's death. Had the event the Queen cancelled been of major import, then someone in the family should have filled in her place, and she has plenty of family around to do it besides the three attending the wedding.

Sounds like a fantastic idea. However it took how long for The Queen to go over? It needs to be thought through properly but it would be hugely popular I think. They went over for pancake day in 2011 maybe or last year I forget, but it was almost a last minute thing.

I think it'd be a great idea, but then I am ready for them to start taking on more...important?(not the right word) engagements. I'm not critiquing what they do now, it would just be interesting for them to move into greater roles considering they will be King and Queen one day.

I hope that makes since...

The coat looked like a blush color to me as well.

I think she is turned out very nicely. I did notice she's got quite a heel on, thought she might be lowering them at this point.

Is it possible that the Cambridges and Harry weren't even informed about the Queen's illness?

Possibly. When The Queen cancelled the three were already out there.
