Yes, that ski vacation occurred right after William got back from his six-week tour of duty in the Falklands at the end of March and they went with the Middletons on that trip. The memorial service occurred during that time.

@RE_DailyMail: Prince William's charity 100 Women In Hedge Funds is teaming up with Kate's charity Action on Addiction this year, SJP announce

@RE_DailyMail: William is patron of 100 Women which is planning series of fundraising events for AOA with a launch party at Jimmy Choo Bond Street March 14

@RegalEyes: "@QueenVicMirror: Kate won't be at the Jimmy Choo launch of the collaboration between Hedge Funds and Action on Addiction"

The visit of the Queen to Ireland was considered by both countries to be hugely successful. And it would be a great idea to build on that visit and widen the scope to other parts of Ireland.

The SAR link is tenuous but William has apparently landed in IReland with rescued personnel so fair enough.

Hope it comes off.

As for bringing Baby Cambridge - they would only be there for 2/3 days at the max., so I would be surprised. There is no comparison with the trip to Australia by the P&P of Wales

Mark Tomilson and Laura Bechtolsheimer are getting married in switzerland this weekend.
Someone on twitter said William was on her flight to Zurich today. Seems he's attending the wedding, I assume Kate will be there too.

I miss them together too. I think their scheduals been a little crazy.

somebody see the card that the duke and the duchess are sending to the people for said thanks for the best wishes about the pregnancy??? the card is really loverly

I haven't seen it, but the fact that they're sending out thank you cards is wonderful. They're going to have a lot more to send out when the baby arrives!

Would she not be traveling with him if that was the case? A bit strange that the twitter did not mention her...But, why would he leave her behind?

Maybe he went straight from wales and she went from London. Also they may be less conspicuous not traveling together.

I don't know how much it's done by Royals, but I know there are some celebrities with children who don't travel together in case something happens during a flight. I believe senior members of the BRF don't fly together for similar reasoning - the likelihood of multiple planes going down, each containing one royal, is considerably less likely to happen than one plane containing multiple royals going down.

I think she wasn't in the same flight, otherwise wouldn't people recognize her? I think so. Both for security reasons or traveling from different place sound like possible reasons for this to happen. In any case, she seems to be there,

William and Kate to attend wedding of Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mark Tomlinson in the Swiss mountain resort of Arosa. William und Kate an Hochzeit in Arosa | Mein Regionalportal

EDIT: saw in twitter that Tim Rooke, a photographer is in Zurich. Hunting for pics of Kate & William at the wedding for sure.

I would be surprised if this actually happens anytime soon. Security for the Queen's visit cost the Republic, which is essentially bankrupt, some £50million. I know security probably wouldn't need to be so high for the Cambridges, but it would still be substantial.

The security threat in Ireland is still huge, with a rocket launcher and other guns and ammunition being found just recently in the possession of so-called 'dissident' republican terrorists.

Anyway, William and Kate have only been to Northern Ireland once and only for a few hours. NI deserves more than that.

Landing in NI with SAR really should not count. Only Royal visits count, in my book.

I mentioned the SAR event because of the SAR link mentioned in the news report. I think EIIR is referring to the visit William and Catherine made prior to their wedding.

Laura Bechtoldsheimer ist the grand-daughter of billionaire Karl-Heinz Kipp who owns the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa, where he lives with his wife. So I guess the party is going to happen at that hotel.

she looks good! i always liked to see her in casual clothes, love that fur jacket^^

i hope we get to see pictures of her at wedding

I thought that trip ended two days ago. It was from 25-27th. Right? I am so not good with these dates.

Yep, you're right. Harry left Lesotho a few days ago.

Here's a translation for the linked article.

Important visitors in Arosa! Prince Harry, 28, Prince William, 30, and his pregnant wife Catherine, 31, on Friday morning, traveled to the mountains of Graubünden, in order to attend a wedding on Saturday. Good mood, they enjoy the beautiful weather and eat lunch with the rest of the wedding guests on the terrace of a raclette “Tschuggenhütte”. Then the princes dare for a few runs on the slopes, the pregnant Kate goes on a quiet and travels by sleigh back to the village. Source

I am indeed, cepe. I'm not counting any of William's SAR activities, although I believe that he piloted a recent mission which collected a very sick baby at Antrim Hospital and transported him/her to specialist treatment in Britain.

There are obvious security difficulties involved in royal visits to NI but, William is now 30 and has only made one official visit here. I don't think Harry has made any. I know they come here privately with friends for hunting etc., but it would be nice to be able to go and see them.

Laura Bechtolsheimer won gold and broze in dressage for Team GB at the Olympics. Surely Zara would be likely to attend too?

But they were in different events, so may not be close friends.

I think they do too. People go on about whether they need protection officers, by how would they know whether the person in the car was going t point a camera or a gun. The fact that royals do walkabouts, and in the Uk, sit in open carriages for 15 minutes, and the entire family line up on a balcony would probably have the Secret Service gibbering! We are v lucky we get the access that we do.

I would find it very uncomfortable for a car to follow me at walking pace with a camera.
