He was on an official engagement at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, where he paid tribute to the bravery of the Army's young recruits. * He is Colonel In Chief of the Gurkhas and the Parachute Regiment and is Colonel of the Welsh Guards and he watched all three being put through their paces, with the Prince swapping berets three times in the course of the visit.
