And she's had that pin for the longest time; she's wearing it in her 1985 interview with Terry Wogan, which in my opinion, is the prettiest I've seen of her, with her long wavy hair.

Princess Anne is in York today as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Corps of Signals. She has attended the 2 Signal Regiment Homecoming Paradeat the Imphal Barracks.

This was a private family only event, so unfortunately I couldn't sneak in!

You can see Princess Anne kissing a horse. The horse really likes her.

That is so cute! My cat does that when he's feeling affectionate enough. He's one of the most affectionate cats you've ever met! (He's orange, of course, with big green eyes!)

"Princess Anne was seated next to retired Formula One racing champ Nigel Mansell at a charity dinner held in Canary Wharf in aid of UK Youth on Wednesday evening. A recent inductee to the Magic Circle, Mansell, 59, kept HRH amused between courses by making his wallet spontaneously burst into flames. Says a guest: 'The Princess Royal was so shocked her face lit up, almost literally.' I suspect her protection officers' trigger fingers got a wee bit twitchy too."

Well, I've heard of parlor tricks, but the spontaneously flaming wallet sure takes the cake! Good thing Princess Anne didn't flame up as well.:D

Princess Anne strikes me as someone who doesn't eat a lot of junk food. Nothing too rich, nothing cooked in wine, and she doesn't eat celery. Anne also doesn't drink. And when she's at home, she would rather cook the meal herself than have someone else do it for her.
